In the valley, there were farms, in the mountains, there were villages, on top of the mountains, there were the castles and the likes. On the frontlines, it was a battlefield, crows feasting on corpses. In the trenches, there were soldiers lying dead, there was one particular soldier whose face was covered in blood.
"The world is… red" The soldier said
Flashback, there was a god, his name was Mirni
"Hey, I am gonna make a world!" He said "Oh and since I am at it, since I am god, why not add some humans, monsters and other creatures!"
He did and named it "Worldly World", and it was to his liking, and so, he abandoned it after he was bored and went off to make another universe far far away. The humans who lived in that world was suffering because they didn't receive any blessings since Mirni abandoned them. But they thought it was all Mirni's plan because Mirni planted the thought of how good he was in their minds and so they dealt with it. Years later, the humans were surviving for some odd reason, they invented bolt action rifles, revolvers, explosives, etc. The humans then built a kingdom on two mountains, they called it by mixing the words "Mirni", their god, and "blessing" which results to "Mirless". There were two mountains in Mirless, the mountains were called "Mountain Nice" and Mountain Good", on Mountain Nice, there is a railway for trains to enter inside the mountain, inside the mountain was a station for delivering and receiving goods and resources from other nations, the train that was used for delivering goods was called "Delivering Express". On the plains, there were 3 trenches, the first trench which was the frontline which was called "Trench A", the second trench was "Trench B" and the last trench was "Trench C" after Trench C. Separating the trenches and plains from the valley and the mountains was a river, the river was called "Nice River". The plains were very foggy, affecting the soldiers in the trenches view. Suddenly, Mirni paid a visit, for who knows what reason, maybe he got bored of his previous world and went back to this world, he said
"Hey, I want to see more pizaz!"
And so, he added elves to the world, he then sent 2,000 elves to Mirless, because, why not?
And so, 2,000 elves stood in front of the trenches. The elves threatened the Mirlesses(The people of Mirless), The soldiers in the trenches did not respond, suddenly, a machine gun from one of the bunkers, opened fire at the elves, some of the elves got killed but they reacted in time to form a shield wall to block the bullets. The materials they used for their shields were special metal and not normal metal, it blocks bullets, however rapidly shot, it shatters like glass. As shields shatters, elves kept moving forward towards the trenches. A volley of flaming arrows filled the whole sky, most of the Mirless soldiers reacted in time and went inside the underground rooms that the trenches had, but some of them reacted too late and got hit by the arrows, the Mirless soldiers then went back to their positions, but it was too late, the elves were already occupying the trenches, the machine gun fire from the bunkers was not enough. The elves massacred the Mirless soldiers on the trenches, some of the elves who used maces smacked the Mirless soldiers which sent them flying.
"Hans! Bring in the flamethrower!" One of the soldiers shouted
Hans, one of the Mirless soldiers, went out from one of the bunkers near the trenches and brought the flamethrower, Hans then burned the elves in the trenches, the flames devoured the elves, and it was just not elves, Mirless soldiers were burned as well, screams came from the trenches. A small volley of arrows then rained down Hans and it killed him. The bunkers were then hit by spells from the elven mages and got destroyed, the soldiers fired a red flare at Trench B through the thick fog, telling them that Trench A is lost, The Mirless soldiers then ran towards Trench B but were chased down by the elves. Some of them arrived at Trench B despite the distance from Trench A. The elves then marched slowly towards Trench B, the elves barely made any noise. The soldiers on Trench B were on high alert but they could not see the elves through the thick fog. Suddenly, one of the soldiers saw a lights filling the sky, it was flaming arrows by the elves. The arrows filled the trench but some soldiers were able to take cover, while the others were killed. The soldiers fired black flares towards Trench C signaling them they need help but still holding on. The soldiers on Trench C then rung the bell and ran towards Trench B, the elves entered Trench B and the Mirless soldiers dropped their rifles and drew their sabers engaging in a melee fight. The Mirless soldiers who were on Trench C arrived at Trench B, and fired their rifles at the elves on the trench. One of the new recruits on the trench was in a tough spot, he was facing an elven mace man, he fired his rifle at the elf but the elf blocked it with its shield, the new recruit tried to cock its rifle but it got jammed and the elf smacked the recruit with its mace and send him flying of the trench. A flame tank then appeared and burned the elves, however it got hit by magic which exploded.
"We need an artillery strike right now sarge!" A soldier shouted
"We already called one!" A lieutenant replied
A loud whistle came from the sky
"Artillery!" Another soldier shouted
Then there were explosions right in front of Trench B, luckily it didn't land on Trench B other wise the whole trench would be full of dead Mirless soldiers. The artillery strike destroyed most of the elves. A bell rung from Trench B and the soldiers advanced and charged at Trench A, trying to take it back. Luckily, most of the elves got killed by the artillery trike so they took Trench A successfully.
"Casualties?" The lieutenant asked
"Around 25 KIA and 15 WIA" a soldier replied "Mostly from Trench A"
"How many did we kill?"
"I think there were 2,000 elves�� the soldier answered
Suddenly, a jeep parked near one of the bunkers.
"Where is lieutenant Huxley?" The soldier who drove the jeep asked
"Here!" the lieutenant replied
"There will be a train delivery next week, the King wants you and your platoon to protect the train tracks from any attackers" the soldier said
"Okay" Huxley replied
The next week, Huxley and his platoon(Nickname: Good Platoon) is getting ready, their task was to protect the "Delivering Express" train.
"Good Platoon! We will defend the train!" Huxley said
"Ay!" The men replied
The train tracks, were placed on top of a hill which gives the soldiers defending train tracks a good position. However, the only cover were the big rocks and the trenches that was barely completed.
"Get in position! 15 minutes till the train arrives!" Huxley said "The train runs like 35 mph! So yeah!"
After 2 minutes, a small fire ball landed on one of Huxley's platoon members' foot.
"Get in cover!" Huxley shouted
An explosion then went off, it was magic. The explosion's size was like of an artillery. An army of elves then marched towards Good Platoon's position. The soldiers laid down suppressive fire at the elves, the elves fired back at them with a volley of arrows. After 15 minutes of fighting, Mirni, the halfwit he is, he felt bored. As a result, he created a crab that was 25 ft tall near the train tracks. Good platoon nearly got massacred but the elves closed in on them and so, the crab got distracted and aimed for the elves instead, most of the elves got killed trying to fight it. When the train arrived, one of the elven mages tried to blow up the crab, but panicked and blew up the train tracks instead, the train went flying and rolled down the train tracks and inside Mountain Nice, after a few seconds, the train blew up killing tons of workers in the station, the reason for explosion was that there were explosives on the train, the explosives was for the military but unfortunately, the train blew up. The giant crab then went on the opposite side of the hill. The elves and men stood still because the crab seemed like it ran away. After a few seconds, a human soldier which looked a bit different from humans, flew across the hill and landed on one of the elves, the elf stood up, and inspected it, Huxley went and stood beside the elf leader who was inspecting the body and inspected it with him. They looked at each other and they both knew what race it was, it was a race that was extinct a few thousand years ago, but it seems like they are alive and well, this time they came back for revenge, because it was the homo-sapiens who were responsible for their losses, the race was called homie-sapiens. Homie-sapiens were seen running away from the crab, but luckily, an airstrike that came from Mountain Nice, landed on the crab, which results to the crab's death. The homie-sapiens then went on top of the hill and fired their rifles and light machine guns at the elves and Good Platoon. Good Platoon and the elves fought back but they were too many, the elves were massacred since they don't have guns, Good Platoon's members were only 7 out of 44. Luckily, backup came and extracted Good Platoon. The homie-sapiens set up camp on top of the hill and dug trenches. They prepared mortars as well. But, after a few minutes, the camp the homie-sapiens built got destroyed by an airstrike that came from Mountain Nice. A platoon that was led by lieutenant Kurt, moved in towards the camp that they destroyed and checked if there were any hostiles, there weren't.
"Alright! Find a hole and dig in tonight! The king is planning to make trenches here, tomorrow we start" Kurt said to his men
Kurt investigated the bodies and saw the patches on the uniform, it looked familiar to him, but after pondering for a few minutes, he remembered. It was one of the kingdoms of the homie-sapiens, it was called "Mahomi", the people that lives in the kingdom were called "Mahomians". The next day, Kurt and his platoon finished making the trenches, Huxley and his new men, occupied the trenches, while Kurt and his platoon went somewhere with permission of the king. They went to the neighboring nation called Gurd Serlaed, some might say the name has a secret meaning. The people there are corrupt but their soldiers are powerful knights, it takes a few shots till their armor breaks. They entered the castle and met the king, the king's name was Le Opahc. Kurt and his men bowed down
"Oh great Le Opahc, we came here to report that the train got destroyed" Kurt said
"Okay" Le Opahc replied
Kurt and his men then left the kingdom. As they were about to grab the guns they left before they entered the castle, a guard grabbed their hand.
"Uhhh" Mikey(one of Kurt's platoon members) said
The guards then grabbed Kurt and all the other members of Kurt's platoon, and they were thrown to prison.
