Chernobyl disaster was a historical nuclear disaster that occurred at the No: 4th reactor in the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, near the city of Pripyat in the north of the Ukrainian S.S.R. Self-destruction of the core, caused a shower of radioactive isotopes all-round the nuclear powerplant, making it and the city of Pripyat unhabitable.
To the public, this was explained as a complicated mishap between the equipment and workers in charge. Away from the public eyes, No: 4th power reactor was used as a power generator for site Thirteen. Site Thirteen was originally a military stockpile in the 50s but then in the 70s, it was repurposed into a research site. The experimentation which caused the meltdown was Molecular translocation, or in more simple terms teleportation.
