"What? How'd you know that?" Jin asked as they walked downstairs
"Have you ever seen Taehyung cry? Cause I have only seen that sight once."
"But you don't know what happened. You don't know if they're just taking a break or—"
"No. No. Jin, he's my brother, I know him very well. Jungkook did something"
"Let's just... hear him out when he's ready to talk"
"Yeah.. lets do that cause I'm about to do something he wouldn't like"
"Namjoon, let Tae handle this please?"
"I know and I will"
"Good. Let's go to bed" Jin said as he pecked his husband.
Taehyung's POV
No calls?? Or just a text? Jungkook. Wow, I feel pathetic. He probably hasn't even realized I left.
I should go to sleep. Maybe I'll hurt less.
Meanwhile
Third person POV
"Hey Jungkook, wanna grab dinner with me?
"Sure, Noona"
Jungkook got in the car with his stylist named Haewon also known to Taehyung as the Instagram girl. It has been a norm for the past week for Jungkook to grab dinner with his stylist.
Many at work even think they're dating. Taehyung wanted to be a stylist for Jungkook but he has never worked with Jungkook before.
"Noona? I thought we were grabbing dinner? This is not the way to the restaurant" Jungkook noticed as he looked out the window.
"I know. I was thinking we should go to your house so I can cook for you"
"Oh, but it would be awkward because taehyung's home"
"You guys are still dating? He didn't notice you were cheating on him?"
"yeah we are and I don't know if he did or not but I told him this morning"
"You told him what?"
"That I cheated on him"
"Oh. What did he say?"
"He said okay"
Haewon laughed as she took a turn. She knows Taehyung because Jungkook couldn't stop talking about him when he started his modeling job. She was envious of their love, now she's doing all she could to ruin it. She posted that picture of Jungkook just for Taehyung to see it.
"You didn't tell him who you cheated with right? He won't know it's me. Don't worry"
"Yeah I guess"
15 minutes later, they arrive at Jungkook and Taehyung's shared house. It wasn't a mansion but it wasn't a typical apartment either. It was.. average for an upcoming model.
"Do you have your key with you or do you have to knock? Haewon asked as she walked towards the door. She was hoping he had to knock so she could see Taehyung's face when he sees her.
"No need. I have my key with me"
"Oh okay" she faked smile.
Jungkook unlocked the door and stepped in and Haewon followed.
It was dark, too dark. Jungkook thought Taehyung was probably asleep.
"Do you have groceries?" Haewon asked as she set her purse on the island in the kitchen.
"I think so, Taehyung is normally the one that gets groceries.
"Oh okay. I'm gonna get started. Is Taehyung gonna join us"
Haewon is asking too many questions.
"No. I don't think so. He's asleep"
"It's a bit early for him to be asleep. Don't you think?"
"Not really. It's 12 am"
"Oh silly me. Anyways what would you like me to cook?"
"Actually, I'm not really hungry so I'm just gonna have ramyeon"
Jungkook headed towards the cabinet where the noodles are usually kept.
"Oh okay"
Haewon was feeling dejected. All her plans for tonight were falling apart.
You might be wondering how possible it was for Haewon to seduce Jungkook.
It all started as a drunk mistake on Jungkook's end. He was sad that night because a company rejected him as their ambassador so he decided to let himself free at a bar. Haewon was coincidentally there that night. And with a blink of an eye, Jungkook woke up the next to Haewon, totally naked and all evidence pointing to the fact that something happened. They both realized they were drunk and agreed it was a mistake but two days later they were in the same position.
Again
Jungkook admitted he liked having sex with his stylist. He wanted something different out of his and taehyung's relationship and he got it. But what he didn't know was how much of a victory this is to Haewon or how much of a Heartbreak this is to Taehyung.
"Kook?"
Jungkook flinched at the nickname. At first he thought taehyung came out of the room but then he realized it was just Haewon calling him a name only taehyung uses.
"Do you want to wa-"
"Noona, I'm kind of sleepy. Do you want me to drive you home? If not I'm just gonna go to bed"
"Oh okay and no need. I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight Kook"
"Yeah goodnight"
He shut the door behind after Haewon left and threw himself on the couch. He hasn't been in the living room ever since he got back. Just in the kitchen trying not to make noises that would wake his boyfriend up(a/n not anymore he's not).
"What's this? He picked up an envelope and scanned it.
"Hmm. It's probably Tae's." He dropped the envelope and walked into his and taehyung's (former) shared bedroom. He noticed taehyung wasn't in there and realized that he had been sleeping in the guest room. He was too lazy to check up on him and also to take off his clothes.
And just like that Jungkook fell asleep.
Taehyung's POV
'I thought you were going to sleep Taehyung?' I couldn't sleep. It's raining and it's the perfect weather to fall asleep in.
*knock knock*
"Taehyung? Are you asleep? It's Joon"
I got up to unlock the door. I don't remember when I locked it but I knew it was locked.
"Hey Joon? Why are you still awake?"
"I just came to check up on you. You okay?"
"Not really "
"Wanna talk about it"
Just spill it Taehyung. Maybe by talking about it would get it off my mind.
"Yeah sure"
"So you and Jeon broke up?"
"Yeah kinda. I just left."
"Why did he do something?"
"He cheated"
"THAT SON OF A -"
"Hyung? It's fine it's okay. The relationship was bound to end. We both needed our space and we're getting it. We made happy memories and I'm fine with that. It's just.... not the same as two years ago. It was only a matter of time we broke up. He's still young, he's an upcoming model. Sooner or later, our relationship would have been a secret. He's free now so am I. I just want to start somewhere else and only remember the happy times."
"What about you? Are you okay?
"I'll be fine I know it" I smiled
"If that's what you say then I believe you. Now come here"
He gave me a hug and whispered
"You're gonna be okay"
I didn't cry. I don't know if it's because there are no tears left or just because I'm actually gonna be okay.
"Yeah I know"
"So,where do you wanna go?"
