"Why? Is it something that you could not decipher or what?" asked Christian and he was now more curious about the seeming not so important circle.
"It is not like I do not know completely, but I never came across such a sign in other scriptures and maps from that time. But if we make it simple, then It looks like a tent and I could say that it pictures a tribe or a place that we have to cross so we can reach the treasure." Answered Mr. Kingsman truthfully. He was very well versed of that age, but he could still not understand it completely.
"IS there any register about tribes in this area? It must be something that can tell us what this is? If they were a tribe, then they would have shown some sign of live." Questioned Christian again.
"No, there is not tribe in this jungle. I sent many explorers to ask the surrounding villages and ask if they knew about some other tribe here, but nothing. And the old tribes would also not answer to our questions, so we have to find it by ourselves."
Christian nodded this time and did not ask anything more.
"AHHHHHHH!" a man's voice sound suddenly when Mr. Kingsman stopped talking. It came from the south side of the camp and it sounds terrifying.
Alex quickly stood up and run to the source of sound before than anyone. He could not let anyone die in this place or he would not be able to get the treasure.
He quickly found a man on the ground and he had a snake around his neck. He was one of the mercenaries and his situation was worse than you could imagine, thankfully the snake did not bite him and only strangle him.
Alex quickly approached the man and then he grasped the snake from the head and then he quickly began to unroll the snake from the man.
The snake had no power to defend itself from Alex, then he was too strong, and it could do nothing.
A short time after the other people appeared too and they were too shocked seeing Alex with a snake in the hand and the man on the ground with a purple face.
"Alex is everything ok?" Asked Mr. Kingsman quickly and then he neared Alex.
"Yeah, it was nothing. The snake strangled him, and I freed him now, please take care of him. I will take care of the snake now." Alex replied and then he disappeared in the jungle.
Christian and the others looked at the disappearing Alex and they were shocked.
"How is he able to grab a snake like this? Is he not afraid?" asked Christian.
"I do not know, we have a personal zoo, and I know that even the zoo-keeper has problems with snakes because they are so strong and flexible and the same time." Replied Richard.
"He is really different, I do not know where he grew up, but to be able to grab a snake like that is a sign of how strong he is at his age." Said Christian.
Meanwhile deep in the jungle, Alex was still having the snake in his and hand and when he looked around and saw that he was deep enough, he opened his and hand and let the snake go.
"Hiss, hiiisss, hiiss"
Alex looked at the snake and then he replied.
"Do not make me mad or I will kill you, I am not someone you can play with."
"his, hiisss, hsss"
"You need food? What does that have to do with me? If you want food, then hunt your equals and let my people in peace."
Alex then turned back and walked back to the camp.
"It is really good to understand the what the animals says, it makes life easier." Thought Alex while walking back to the camp.
After they all had dinner, almost everyone slept and only a few stayed awake for security.
At the dawn, everyone woke up and then they soon resumed the journey. Even if the night was short and they did not sleep comfortably, Alex refreshed their bodies with energy, so that they are not sleepy or feel pain because of the irregular way.
"Good, I could spread energy to everyone today without affecting the environment around us. I targeted their bodies perfectly and no energy was wasted." Alex was happy that he was getting better and better at controlling his energy and he was feeling very proud about it.
Soon they continued driving along the river and nothing new happened. They saw various animals, that could only be seen in books back in Europe or America and the young people were excited to see them. Afterall, they are only between 17 and 18 years old and they did not experience many things in their short lives. And thanks to Alex that recovered their energy the whole time, they all had a better experience.
But at the evening they reached the limit of where the cars could not drive any longer. It was a dead end for cars and the river became much smaller and the trees were everywhere. They stopped and built a cam again, but this time they had to prepare for tomorrow too and what they will take with them.
They will walk tomorrow more than 50 kilometers, but the most probably they would have to stop and camp in the jungle. They will also have to enter the jungle and it would be not so safe like following the river all along.
A few kilometers away from the camp of Alex and his people, another group of people were also preparing to camp, but the difference was that they all had almost no equipment and only food and water and weapons.
"Prepare yourself to enter the jungle tomorrow, we will ambush them once they are deep enough in the jungle. Do you understand?" Nordej shout to the people in front of them and they all yelled in response.
