Chapter 82 - THOMAS THINK ABOUT WHAT CHRISTA TOLD JENNY

"Sweetheart, why are you telling her that? She doesn't know that I have six toes. And I never knew you notices that either?"

"Then let us go, it makes no sense letting her see his toes?"

When Miss Jenny said, "I thought you said that you and Thomas don't sleep together?"

"I know what I said, but isn't that what you wanted to hear, thinking you could have a chance to spend some time with him?"

Jenny recalled their conversation, 'Did she read my thoughts, my God how could I be so gullible and fall into her trap?

She had known it was me all the time that used to call for Thomas. Yet she didn't whisper a word and feed me as a lamb to the slaughter.'

"I can see you are very cunning, and you snatch the opportunity to marry a rich man? So all the talk about you spending time with your fiancé before coming here, was just a heap of rubbish?"

Jenny heard her chuckles, seeing Thomas look at her. Recalling the day when she laughs. Hearing her saying, "Isn't that what you was thinking when you were handling his business?"

"Why don't you shut your mouth?"

"Thanks, I will do just that because others might hear what a conniving, jealously person you are? Oh, and next time you try coming near our animals, you will live to regret it in jail."

"Oh shush, what do you know about anything?"

"You are right, but you know what when you drop the syringe, I should have broken your hand then, so you would have known that you don't mess with God's children."

Jenny looked at her, from what she is saying, 'It was she that saw me, I thought there was no one at the pen after that fool left? God every time I see this bitch, I hate her even more, by just thinking how she ruins all of my plans.'

Jenny saw the smug look on her face. 'I know this is impossible, she can't read my mind, but who cares.

Hearing Thomas saying to her, "Sweetheart, let us go home, you have made me so proud, and I know, Miss Walker won't mess with you again?

Now as you can see, my wife is unwell, so please excuse me? My wife needs to get some rest. Come honey you have done an exceptional job."

Thomas then took the bag from Mrs. Marva and place the baby in her hand. Holding, Christa's hand as we walk away. Turning around she looks at Miss Jenny. Christa notices the way she continue standing and glaring at us, but Thomas held a firm hand on mine.

Hearing him saying in a jokey sort of way "Okay my Pitbull, you can relax now, I realized you are much stronger with your mouth when you are unwell?"

Hearing Mrs. Marva laughing as we reach the van. "Now lie down and make yourself comfortable then I give you the baby."

Thomas sees when she fixes herself as he places him in the space, he fit in perfectly and cozy, in her arm.

Taking his time driving home so they won't get much jerking. Glancing through the review mirror, her eyes were closed. 'I only hope she hasn't taken that conversation with Jenny to heart?

But from what she said, I know Jenny will think twice before she attempts to do anything that stupid again.

Aliza was so wrong about her saying she is timid and quiet, but from the time we got married, she had so many confrontations, and not once did she back down and accept defeat.

She always tries to make sure that she gets her message across loud and clear. And did I hear right, she told Jenny that's what she wanted to hear.

How did she know that Jenny want to make a move? God, she confuses me sometimes, yet when it comes to fighting my battles she stands head on.

Aliza said she will make this family proud and today we are taking the heir into my house. I know dad can't wait for us to bring him home.

Driving into the garage, "Thank God today is Thursday, and my family isn't home. At least, she can get some rest seeing how she has exerted herself battling with Jenny.

Taking the baby in his arms as Mrs. Marva help her out of the van, then took the bag and follows inside.

Thomas was about to climb the steps when his Mom came out. "Oh, this is wonderful, he is finally home, and he already has a visitor." Hearing his mom calls his Dad, "Sam, they are home."

Christa didn't care who came to visit, all she needed right now was her bed. Ignoring her mother-in-law, the intense pain around her groin area seems to paralyze her legs.

Christa slowly climbs the stairs holding the rail as a support to pull herself up the stairs. Hearing her father's voice, puts a halt to her climbing as she turns around saying, "Papa you are here?"

"Yes, my child, when we receive your letter, your brother and I was worried. Come let me see you."

Christa felt like her feet had a piece of lead. Unable to move one-foot step forward or backward.

Thomas seeing how pale her face was, placed the baby in his mom's arms then hurried to her, whispering, "What is wrong?"

Turning to Christa Dad says, "Dad, Christa had a trying day, she needs to lie down. It will be better if you come up after she settles in?"

"Yes, Son you are right," Antonio observes how Thomas lifts her and carries her up the stairs.

Christa whispers, softly, "You didn't tell me you send for Papa to visit?"

"You were not well and I thought if a member of your family came you will be happy."

"Thank you so much, how I can repay you?"

"You my darling don't need to repay anything, the Fortune family is indebted to you. I hope you know all I have belonged to you. Furthermore, you have made my Dad proud and have given him an heir to carry on the Fortune name."

"And what about you Tom, how do you feel?"
