Angel's POV
I was broke, I was lost. Her words broke me beyond repair when she said those words.
"There was someone else."
I knew I had pushed her away, I knew I had pushed her into the arms of someone else.
So I begged, pleading with her to take a chance on me, but yet she scattered, even more, my already broken heart.
Drinking all my pain away that night, I decided to let the old me shine once more.
The cold and ruthless Boss I once was until I had allowed her to creep into my heart.
But not anymore. She wanted a boss and she was going to get one.
So that morning, walking into my office building with a stern expression on my face, I was determined to get this day over and done with.
I took the elevator up to my office floor, and stepping out of it, just one look at her, had all the walls I had tried so hard to build up come crashing down.
