Anna was making her coffee and breakfast for school .In her own little world humming , when all of a sudden Bethany ,Annas mother, barged in ," Have you been digging into my belonging ?!" The woman looked terrifying . Bethany towered over Anna . Bethanys dark hair and eyes pierced into Anna .
" No mother I have no idea what you are talking about . I have been so busy getting school stuff ready to start my new school . I have had no time to do anything else ."
While Bethany and Anna were having a stare down Thomas , Anna's father , came into the room and seated himself down at the kitchen table . ", Bethany love, I am sure that Anna hasn't been digging into our things ." Both girls jumped in surprise at Tohmas voice Neither one of them was expecting him to be present .
" If it wasn't her then who was it ! She is the only person who could have done it !" Bethany yelled at the top of her lungs .
Anna was speachless .What was she going to do . Her parents where on to her . She wanted to confess , but what would happen ? What if what they was hidding is so important that they tried to kill her ? I mean now days they are barley around . She barley knew who they were anymore . Annas mouth went dry as she scanned her brain trying to think of an explanation . Nervously she said ," Coco went into your office last night and knocked over a box of files . I tried tovpick them all up and put them back where I thought they was at ."
Thomas got up from his seat at the table . He wrapped his arms around Bethany ," See love, she wasn't going through our things ." Winking at Anna from behind her mother ," You should probable head off to school before you are late ."
Without a pause Anna grabbed her coat and headed out the door . The winter was starting but even though she was cold she decided to walk to school rather than driving .The fresh air would help calm her nerves . She wanted to have a clear mind on her first day of school .
