AVIA
My eyes prowled in its socket and opened wide when I felt a moisture towel on my forehead.
"You have a fever," An old woman said, sitting beside me as she squeezed cold water from a white face towel into a bowl and placed it on my forehead.
"My husband found you half-dead in the woods some months ago and brought you here" She paused as she wiped the towel against my face with bright smiles on her face.
She looks old with her greyish hair but her voice seemed younger compare to her age.
"We have been treating you ever since" she added in a whisper.
Her every word was pleasant and calming. I can feel her warmth but my heart still trembles in fear.
"So, henceforth, I will take care of you till you fully recover," she said
"How am I in this place?"
"My husband found you lifeless in the woods with so much blood so, he brought you here" She replied and patted my lap, "You are such a strong and innocent girl".
