"Have you lost your manners?!" The Lady yelled at him.
Merid smirks, he knew the right thing is to kneel and to his mother but instead he chuckles slightly as if the Lady before him means nothing to him, "Do I have to bow to a stranger?" He said and scratch twice on his temple.
Listening to Merid, the Lady smashed her hand on the table rashly before turning her gaze to him with grinning teeth.
Merid posed even more,
"I did not have to bow my head to a stranger, you are a stranger to me since the day you abandoned us and the Kingdom... My head won't be bowed to you ever!" His voice pierced into the Lady's ears that she instantly avoid his gaze and gulps.
Merid immediately turned to the door, wanting to walk far away from her but the reason he came struck his mind, he clenched his fist, dismay.
