"Did you guys have fun being alone with each other?"
The dining table used to only have one or two people dining with each other was now filled with four people. The addition of Seungwoo on the table made it even more lively. She was reminded of the last time he visited and shared how he missed a mom's homemade food.
The rectangular dining table looked pretty. Suji's mom prepared a decent feast in a short amount of time. The meat was prepped, and the electric bbq grill was at the center. There were lettuces and kimchi, fermented pickles, and raw Chinese cabbages at the side to neutralize the greasiness of the meat.
The atmosphere was somewhat awkward. Suji and Seungwoo were sitting right next to each other while Suji's mom and dad sat right across them. They were sitting right next to each other too. Seungwoo offered to grill the pork as he was now holding the tongs in his comfort and continued to do his job without any words.
