"Hi, mom!" Suji stopped in her tracks and awkwardly smiled. "Nice to see you! Hehe!"
"Are you dating your CEO, Li Suji?" Her mom stood up, walked towards her, and asked. "Are you dating that sea witch that you told me?"
Suji froze; her eyes went rounder as she did not expect her mom to be awake at ten in the evening. She did not even expect her to be out on the sofa, waiting for her to arrive. It was at that moment that she realized that she was busted.
"Did you see the two of us by the gate, by any chance, mom?" Suji nervously asked, eyeing her mom's reaction. She almost cowered in fear when her mom just raised her brows and looked at her intently.
"Are you kidding me, Li Suji?!" Her mom asked in a raucous voice; it was evident that Suji was already busted, but she was trying her best not to get baited when she already was. "I saw you getting outside of that luxurious car! And I was so sure that it was not the reincarnated prince!"
