Tashina was totally confused as she was being led into the secret tunnels of the Palace with a circle of soldiers around her.
She looked down at the baby in her arms and found it odd that her daughter seemed to be so calm despite the uproar happening above them.
Tears gathered in Tashina's eyes as she remembered her husband's words of just a few minutes ago but it felt like an eternity.
"Alpha!! We are under attack!" Chivia had come running down the hallway before she stopped before them.
"What?" Tashina frowned as she held the baby in her hands.
"Are the enemies known?" Xavier asked calmly.
Tashina looked up at him as she couldn't understand why he didn't seem surprised by all of this.
Had he been expecting this to happen?
"No, but they are quickly overpowering us with their strange weapons," Chivia muttered.
"Strange? What do you mean by strange?" Tashina asked as another tumble shook the Palace.
