Tashina rapped her fingers on the wooden desk as her head fell into deep thoughts of the recent events happening in her life.
"Are you okay?" Xavier's voice pulled her out of her reverie.
"Yes, I'm fine," she forced out a smile.
She then turned her head to the other persons who were in the room with them.
Ren sat down across her with a pensive look on his face and Chivia was right next to him, looking around as though she was lost.
Xavier tightened his hold on her hand to give her some much-needed strength.
"So...do you guys have any idea what it was?" Chivia broke the ice with her question.
Xavier and Tashina exchanged knowing looks with each other before Tashina sighed.
After the massive blow from last night, Xavier decided it was right to hold a meeting with the immediate family so they could discuss what happened.
