Tashina kept her blazing green eyes steady on Xavier and without a second thought, she drove the dagger straight into his heart.
When she opened her eyes, she saw the dagger right above his chest and his heavy breaths filled the dense air.
She thought she had killed him,
But she didn't.
She thought she could,
But she couldn't.
Not when her heart beat for him, not when his blue glazing eyes managed to carry so much love and care for her.
Feeling angry and disappointed at her weakness for him, she yelled in frustration and threw the dagger across the room.
