Tashina's heart nearly jolted out of her chest when she saw the big black wolf in the middle of her room.
She placed her hand on her bosom when she recognized the dark blue eyes immediately.
She had been so engrossed with what she saw outside that she hadn't even heard him sneaking in.
'Ha! Got you for once!' Xavier snickered through the mindlink.
"Talon, that was not funny," Tashina chided and Talon dropped his tail with a sad look on his face.
"You could have scared the baby. Do not listen to Xavier next time," Tashina held her belly as she walked toward Talon.
She bent forward and stroked his ears which made him whimper with joy. She couldn't stay mad at the cute wolf even if she wanted to.
"How are you, boy?" She ruffled his black fur and nuzzled her face on his nose while Talon wagged his tail impatiently.
