When Tashina opened her eyes, her vision was blurry as she heard some voices coming from the background.
It sounded like an argument and it was only making the headache in her head intensified.
"What do you mean this is normal?!!"
"Your Majesty, you must calm down-"
"You're telling me to calm down when my wife and baby's life were put in danger?!!"
"I am telling you, Your Majesty, this happens every time in a vampire-"
"So you want me to see my wife collapse every single time?! Are you planning on giving me a heart attack?!"
"Xavier, calm down. You acting out isn't making this any better," Tashina recognised Ren's voice which made her understand a little bit of what was going on.
"No, Ren, what I need to know is what that maid did to provoke Tashina to sip her blood!! She better start talking or else I'm going-"
"She didn't do anything," Tashina croaked out and the entire room went silent for a while.
