"Welcome in,"
Tashina sat up as the doors to the bedroom were open and Xavier, Ren, and an elderly-looking lady walked in.
She was about to get up to greet her guest when her husband held back.
"Lie down, why do you want to get up now?" Xavier pulled her back to the bed gently.
Tashina rolled her eyes, feeling exasperated by her husband's exaggeration.
She wasn't going to collapse if she stood for a minute just to greet someone!
"I am fine, I only want to welcome our guest," she whined as Xavier placed her legs on the bed before he used the duvet to cover her.
"No one said you couldn't greet while lying on bed," Xavier shot back at her and she dropped her head to the bed in annoyance.
"Ren, please tell your brother that I am only pregnant and not sick! Tell him!" Tashina hissed as she brushed off her red strands away from her face.
