"Now, I would like to know why my Queen has had her nerves up," Xavier muttered and Tashina stared back at him with slight confusion.
She didn't know he had noticed her sour mood earlier on. Thinking about it now, they were connected through the mindlink and he would have definitely felt her anxiety when she spoke to Kider.
How foolish was she to try to hide her feelings from him.
"You noticed?" She smiled nervously, feeling targeted by his gaze.
"Why would you think I wouldn't? I felt your raging emotions which were why I came here for lunch. My suspicions were confirmed when I saw you waddling down the hall with your head far from reality," Xavier reached for her hand over the table.
"Tell me, what worries you? You know we made a vow not to hide anything from each other," he reminded her and she sighed. He was really good at guilt-tripping her.
