"Thank you so much, Father, for everything you have done for me and Lane. It wasn't required of you but you were the best father we could ever ask for," Tashina held her father's hand with a grateful smile.
"You gave up your life for the kingdom and for us and that is something we would never stop thanking you for. You are a very good man, Luther, and I will always be indebted to you for the rest of my life," Tashina muttered sincerely.
"I have only done nothing but my duty and it was an honour to serve your father and your family," King Luther patted her hand gently.
Tashina turned her wistful gaze back to the jewel in the box and she caressed the surface as the gravity of the situation suddenly dawned on her.
