The small pamphlet was passed to every chief in the room and they all read it with keen attention.
"If you read the paper given to you, you would see the number of werewolves and vampires that have died from the inter-realmic wars which have taken place for the last fifty years," Xavier said from the head of his throne.
"Those were the number of casualties that we couldn't avoid just because of the old animosity running within us. There could have been no need for the wars, there could have been more dialogue than violence, we could have saved so many mothers from losing their sons, and so many women from turning into widows, but we didn't," Tashina said from the next to him.
"We didn't because we were too buried in the vain hatred we had for the other realm and all we ever wanted to do was to eliminate each other, not considering the thousands of lives we were sacrificing for our selfish desires," Tashina said regretfully.
