Tashina blinked her eyes open and the bright light in the room got into her eyes but she didn't squirm at all.
She knew someone was laying beside her and she didn't want to wake him up because she wanted to enjoy a few moments alone before he woke up.
But she knew she wouldn't be able to do that when she felt movements besides her.
She closed her eyes in a desperate attempt to pretend to be asleep but she knew she was just fooling herself when she felt his warm breath in her face as he scoffed.
"I know you are awake," he touched her cheek.
Just the feel of his finger on her face made chills crawl down her body and she gritted her teeth to stop her from pushing him away.
She opened her eyes and her green orbs met his blazing eyes staring down at her. For just a split second, she saw it was the same cool penetrating blue eyes she was used to but when she blinked, it disappeared without a trace.
