Tashina walked down the pavement with her eyes far away from reality as she got to the Lady who was seated on the bench and waiting for her patiently.
Lady Keille looked up when she heard Tashina's footsteps.
"Princess!" Lady Keille gasped out a little when she saw the look on Tashina's face.
Her face was pale and the makeup that was applied on her had been smudged badly and now, it looked like she had been bruised all over her face.
"Sorry I kept you waiting, Lady Keille" Tashina said in a weak voice.
"I-it's okay, but are you alright? You-you look...terrible" Lady Keille cautiously brought out the word.
Out of nowhere, Tashina burst out laughing and Lady Keille frowned.
The way the Princess laughed was so scary and heart-wrenching at the same time. It was like she was trying to cover up for her tears.
"My face mirrors my heart," Tashina murmured.
"Tashina," Lady Keille held her shoulders.
