The Queen sauntered into the Princess's room as though it were hers as her depreciating green eyes swept over the room.
She ran her hands over the desk but said nothing.
Tashina who was on the bed said nothing as well and simply kept her eyes on the Queen.
She couldn't figure out what she wanted and why she was here so she will have to keep silent to observe her.
"What brings you to my room by this night, Mother?" Tashina decided to break the silence.
Queen Sania's eyes immediately traveled to the Princess and she tilted her head as she stared at Tashina.
If Tashina didn't gulp, it would have been a lie.
"Why, my dear Tashina? Can't Mama come to see her daughter before she retires for the night?" the Queen asked.
You're not my mother!!!
Tashina wanted to spit out but she held it in.
"Of course not, Mother. It just came as a surprise to me so I decided to ask. I hope everything is well?" Tashina asked.
