Your POV
I walked up a flight of stairs and enter a room of lit candles. I walk around the circle of candles, I heard a voice and turned to the middle of the circle my hands glowing and ready to attack if needed. There was a boy sitting in the middle with his legs crossed.
"Who are you? What do you want?" I asked.
"My name is Zuko and you are the one that wants something" He spoke.
"I don't need anything" I replied still weary of him.
"That's where you are wrong, you came to me after all" He corrected.
"Um you just appeared, you weren't here when I walked in" I informed him.
He smiled holding a flame in his hands.
"It's funny how anger distorts the vision. I was here for the entirety of your time in this room, it was only when you calmed your anger you could truly see". I walked closer watching his flame. How isn't he burning himself.
"How are you doing that?" I asked.
"Fire is life as are the other elements. Your emotions control them, you need to learn from each of us how to control your emotions and only then will you become who you are meant to be. Not who he is trying to make you." He put out his flame.
"You already have been training with parts of the elements. Shields, Fire. Telekinesis, Air. Healing, Water. Invisibility, Spirit. Earth you have not obtained yet but you will in time. Meditation will help you release your anger opening you up to more powers. I'll teach you how to master the element of fire and to control your anger" He adds. I smiled.
"Great when do we start?" I asked. He hums.
"Soon but for now meditate and I'll see you again". I heard his voice before waking up. I sighed. It was just a dream.
Neville's POV
Y/n walked in and sat down next to me for breakfast. She looked tired, she put her face in my neck sighing.
"Are you okay?" I wrapped my arms around her. She nods.
"How is your arm?" I asked.
"The mark still won't heal" She mumbled, she looked up at me.
"Can you help me with something?". I nodded.
"Anything for you" I cupped her cheek softly.
We were in the greenhouse and Y/n had a bunch of things lined up in front of us. There was a pot of dirt, bowl of water and a lit candle.
"What is all this for exactly?" I questioned.
"Last night I had a dream, well at least I think it was. This is to see whether it was or wasn't" She said and explained everything. I guess I felt jealous of this fire welding elemental boy.
"W-Was he...was he handsome?" He is someone Y/n can relate to, she will dump me for him.
"Nev you are the only guy I ever think about in that way, I like you no one else" She said and kissed me softly. It still feels amazing when she does that.
"Now can you pour the water slowly on my arm, my healing isn't working so I thought if my dream was real then using water should be stronger since Zuko said healing was apart of the water element" She explained. I started pouring the water on her arm and she used her power on it soon she uncovered her arm to see the burned mark was completely gone. She smiled.
"It's gone, oh my god it's actually gone" She exclaimed and jumped into my arms hugged me tightly.
"Thank you" She said.
"For what?" I asked confused by what I did. She kissed my forehead softly.
"For helping me even when it all sounded crazy" She said.
"It didn't sound crazy" I said.
Your POV
I giggled looking at the pot of dirt.
"Hey Neville, you've got a little dirt on your face" I said sneakily dipping my finger in the dirt.
"Where?" He said touching his face. I swiped the dirt on his nose.
"There" I giggled. He smiled.
"Okay fire" I said and picked up the candle. I take a breath and touch the flame, I held a small flame in my hand.
"This is amazing" I said happily. Neville smiled at me. The flame started to feel hotter. I frowned. Why is it burning.
My face contorted from the pain.
"Y/n what's wrong?" Neville asked as I winced. I tried to put it out but it didn't work. I stood up panicking as the fire burnt my hands, I pat my hands on my robes but they just caught fire.
Neville used an extinguishing spell on me, the flames were put out instantly when I was drenched with water.
"Sorry. Are you okay?" He asked taking my hands gently in his. I hissed.
"Y-Yeah just hurts" I whisper, my nose started bleeding from using too much energy. I sighed and started healing my hands. After I finished healing them I felt dizzy I looked up at Neville, he looked sad. Then I blacked out, the last thing I saw was Neville reaching out to catch me.
Suddenly I was back in the room of candles.
"You didn't follow my instruction" Zuko said. I frowned.
"I know I was supposed to meditate and wait until you taught me but I just needed to try" I replied.
"Do you know how stupid that was, you burnt yourself because you weren't ready. You could have seriously hurt your boyfriend too. How would you feel if you hurt him?" He said firmly.
"I-I" I couldn't answer, the thought of hurting Neville made my heart clench.
"I would never hurt him" I finally said.
"You may not mean to do it but you will end up hurting him or someone else if you keep being reckless. Follow my instructions and you might just learn to control fire without anymore injuries. But for now meditate and use some lavender to get in touch with the earth element more." Zuko said. I nod.
"What are you may I ask?" I shifted.
"I'm an elemental, there are four of us, Water, Earth, Fire and Air. We don't have a spirit elemental at this stage. The spirit elemental has more than one power but contains the four elements." He explained.
"Am I the spirit elemental?" I asked shocked. He smiled.
"I like your boyfriend he's really down to earth, see you soon" Zuko hummed.
"Wait" I said but woke up in the hospital wing. Neville looked over at me and holding my hand.
"Y/n you're awake" He said and kissed my forehead. Madam Pomfrey let me leave the hospital wing after checking I was okay. It was time for bed and Neville was really clingy for some reason, not that I was complaining. Neville wouldn't let go of me.
"Nev do you want me to stay with you tonight?" I asked.
"Yes please." He smiled as we walked up to the boys room. We got changed and I cuddled with him for the rest of the night.
