Chapter 6 - Tragic Summer

Shortly before the spring semester had ended, and before the summer started. My dad's health started to decline, and because of that. Our family started to struggle financially, and I had to keep everything in check as best as I could. The big problem that caused this situation and didn't help much, was that my own sister. Who has a kid and is already in her thirties, stole money from the family. So when my dad's health went down and couldn't work, it really took a tole on us financial. And I had to make many sacrifices in order to help out, and she didn't want to put in any effort to even help. And at the time, as well as currently during this moment. She has another kid on the way. She showed off how selfish she truly is, and the whole time it was honestly aggravating to deal with. Especially since, our dad required life threatening surgery. It was like she didn't care at all about what happened to him, this in turn created some very high tensions in the family.

In the end though we managed to move past that point and did our best to get the family back in order. Towards the end of summer, my dad was still having issues. But luckily, school was starting up again and I could see my friends again. Once school had finally started, I had a hard time getting back into the swing of things. Thankfully, I had my friends to help keep focused.

Shortly after school started, me and my friends attended an anime convention called " world Japan". A well known convention in our city that alot of people attend, and I was honestly looking forward to it all year. "World Japan" was the one place I could feel like myself, it was the one place that brought me joy and helped me relax. Plus, it gave me the chance to see a really good friend of mine who lives one city away. The convention was fun, however it did come with its fair share of problems. My friends lobby and birdo got into a disagreement with each other, but that wasn't the worst of it. You see, the year before this. I had actually attended the convention with pyra instead of friends, we hung out together and made alot of memories. So, when I was with my friends. After some time, I eventually broke down in tears as memories of pyra and our time together just came flooding back like an ocean.

My friends helped me get through the situation, and I was still able to have a blast. And I even learned alot from the experience. But little did I know that this would only be the beginning of something far greater than expected.
