Chapter 3 - PROLOGUE

Indeed, life is never fair, for if it was, no man would be poor, no mind dull and no child, maltreated. But as unfair as life is, it often gives us a glimmer of hope that all will be alright, yet, this seemed to not be the case for the great Kingdom; a place once full of happiness, joy, and laughter.

Normally, at every street you would find people merrily going on their business;

Children playing happily on the streets chasing butterflies and the adults fondly looking at the scene with smiles on their faces; The marketplace would be bustling with buyers, collectors, and the occasional freeloaders, with the traders, merrily selling their goods and sometimes gifting some to the sweet little children; A man and a woman would be sitting regally on their thrones whilst the people paid homage to them proud to call such beautiful and amazing people their King and Queen.

But of all the things which could and would catch your eye if you were to visit the kingdom was the wonderful hue of colors. A pink here, a red there, a pot of purple, a splash of green, a tint of gold, a shade of blue, and so many other colors were to be seen that your eyes would pop out from trying to take them all in. It was a mysterious and wonderful place, a place where colors were born in different forms and sizes.

But many years ago, the color which was the pride and joy of the people, disappeared completely, as if it were never there, and with it the pride and joy of the people, leaving behind a shadow of what it once was, leaving behind sadness, self-pity, frustration, bitterness, fear of the unknown and a black and white kingdom. All became gloomy in the now colorless land of miserable people and for once it really did seem that all hope was lost.

Yet, a tiny blaze flared, a faint hope blossomed in their hearts for there was a prophecy about one who would save them: For in the ashes a flower blooms, one cut away from its roots which shall have what the kingdom has lost and harness its mysteries as its own. It shall, in weather as unpredictable as fate, with light as its petals and with 4 seeds holding great power, grow into a rainbow which will abolish the black and white.

Will they ever see another colorful and joyful day or will the evil forces have their way.
