The fact that Eric was able to keep 3 of those experts in check by himself, helped his side a lot as well.
That equal battle didn't last for long though, as the weak and useless Lizards that the Lava Layer wouldn't think much of started to tip the battle on Eric's favour.
Firstly, it was impossible to 'see' or 'sense' them normally, and that became even more difficult when one was engrossed in the battle in front of them.
Secondly, even if their target managed to avoid the vitals, or managed to slightly dodge it, they would still be affected from the poison after.
In that situation, if their target didn't die, it wouldn't be able to stay alive for long either.
The strategy clearly infuriated the Butterfly Queen, as she was watching its 'children' die unjust deaths, through cowardly tricks and attacks.
