After a week at the castle everyone left to return home accept for Cecil and his kids, Gus, and Orson. Cecil and Gus decided upon themselves to teach each other swords and archery; they both asked Raina and her parents to stay to do so. Raina agreed as well as her parents thus they stayed a few months longer. Rob, Cecil's son also learned to use a sword, Raina came to help Gus show what to do or how to stand. Same went for Gus when it was his turn to learn archery, though Raina tried to stay to the side to watch or played with Lizzy and Rachel. If Lizzy, Raina, and Rachel weren't playing they were reading, drawing, needlework, and or in the kitchen talking and helping the kitchen staff.
As for Orson he stayed at first to watch Raina and the two dungeon workers who attacked them, few months later Raina told Orson it was ok for him to go home that she, her parents, and their friends are still being guarded. Reluctantly Orson finally agreed with Raina and left for Richard's Kingdom, his town, his home.
About half of the year Snow's castle housed Raina's friends, Gus, Cecil and his kids until the day they finished what they wanted to do. With the new skills Raina's friends thanked the king, queen, and princess for their hospitality and left for their home, where they also taught whatever skill the person asked to learn.
