Law, life, matter, energy, and soul. These five are the fundamentals of everything. They are what create something that exists in this world or in any world.
One of these five, life, what is it?
Life, energy, and soul coincide with each other. With life, the soul is created. Through this soul, energy can be manipulated.
Not everything has life though, what others have is only matter. So back to the question, what is it?
It has a complicated answer, but for the short answer, it is the force to continue. An entity that has life will continue to exist. A will shall be created once an entity received life.
To continue to exist, an entity will adapt to its surrounding, transforming into many forms. Generations to generation, it eventually was named as hereditary and genes.
