~ THALIA'S POINT OF VIEW ~
"Capture her!"
Lord Voltaire shouted upon seeing me running towards the windows. I know he can manipulate everything but I am wiser than he thought.
"Surrender now, Thalia! You have nowhere to go!" He scowled, clenching his jaw while enduring the pain in his lower abdomen.
He's weak and vulnerable enough to grab my arm closer to him.
I left him at the wooden chair, groaning because of pain. Lord Voltaire try to reach the powerful cane upon looking behind me.
The palace's guards chase me while all of the maidservants moves quickly and give way to them.
"My Lord," I heard the palace guard called his name out of surprise.
Quickly as I can, I run towards my room and put the wooden chair to hinder them from entering my room.
The windows are protected by strong energy and I know, it must be the Vampire Lord who did it.
"Follow her, hurry up!"
