"Uno wait." He said as he stops his pace, "you do know that I'm not interested in getting myself involved in this game in any kind of form."
Uno nodded as if expecting Tornado will say this, but he knew him for five years so he has some convincing words on his sleeve.
"Then why?" Tornado asked with a frown. Uno should know that his determination is absolute, to hunt every easter eggs in the game, especially that Golden Easter egg, just thinking about it makes his blood boil in agitation.
Tornado waiting for Uno's answer for a few seconds but none, and cause of that, he about to leave when Uno suddenly said.
"I know what you thinking but hear me out okay? First of all Tornado, my word is just a guess and it sometimes could be wrong."
It was common knowledge, my dear friend! Uno said himself.
Tornado shook his head, "your guess is always correct, we've been known each other for five years."
If they've known each other for five years but didn't know each other very well, perhaps both of them should die with a blob of tofu.
"Thank you?" Uno didn't know what to do with the sudden praise but why it felt like he should control himself from guessing anything in any form from now on?
Before he answered 'thank you', he wondered for three seconds, searching for the right words to reply Tornado's words but only thank you with a question mark comes out from his mouth
"How about you talk to him then decide what to do. I'm pretty sure it will be a good idea to think about it thoroughly after that."
Indeed, his words do make sense, maybe Tornado should do what he said but if he think it carefully once more, he still doesn't want to train someone, but if he gets paid every hour by doing so, he would consider it.
Noticing that Tornado still hesitating, Uno does the last push.
"They'll pay you this huge sum of cash every hour," Uno said with a confident smile as his arms is wide open, indicating how much money Tornado will earn, he also closes his eyes as he is very confident that this push will change his mind by 180°!
As soon as he said it. Tornado's presence is gone, he is sure that his best friend is on his left side just now, where on earth that fellow go?
He opened his eyes only to found out that Tornado already distances away from him. If this was a scene in a comic, Tornado would leave a white outline of his figure, flickering for a few times then disappeared.
"So fast?" He said as he did not expect that it would be very effective. He then thought, I wonder if he will poop on the spot while standing if I pay him a million dollar? He then imagined it but for some reason, he felt cold shudders.
"Maybe I shouldn't, he'll give me a ticket to something worse than death."
Uno is the type of someone that rarely seeks death, especially with a guy like Tornado. He knows him very well that he should consider twice if he wants to feel the excitement of doing so.
Who doesn't felt excited when seeking death? That thrilling sensation sent by ya brain and that good sensation after everything is going well and you still alive without any punishment what so ever.
"Hurry up you slowpoke!" He shouted from distance away. His voice was echoed through the large and long hallway.
That shout brought him to reality. "Coming!" He steadily quickens his pace.
After walking for five minutes throughout the hallway with sunlight accompanied them through the transparent window, they arrived in Alpha Wolf's office and enter it.
Inside it is a middle-aged man sitting on a black, office chair. The man exuding an aura of a strict and fearsome leader.
"Tornado ready for duty sir!" He said as he firms his hand in front of his chest. His figure is that of a soldier ready for war and death.
"Sit." He said nonchalantly. Tornado nodded and sit on a soft sofa and in front of it is a transparent glass round table.
Uno doesn't follow him to sit, instead, he looked at Alpha Wolf and the latter noticed his gaze, afterwards, he nodded and Uno leaves the room.
As soon the door was closed, Alpha Wolf said, "do you know the reason why you're here?"
Tornado's brain immediately remembering everything that has happen here for the last three months, a bunch of images flashed in his mind, it was the memory of when he destroyed a lot of buildings beyond ten fingers could count.
He shook his head. "No sir!"
If it' about them, the shame of himself if he admits it will enough to trample his pride but it doesn't change the fact that he had destroyed many buildings, but it was all just an accident. Why would he, as a person who builds the city wanted to destroy it?
It was the same as destroying your own house that was built from nothingness!
As his mind starts to get wild, Alpha Wolf's voice brought him to reality.
"Relax, no need to be so tense. You may know it from Uno as to why you are here."
Heaving a sigh of relief, he nodded.
"Good, I want you to train the young princess from the Luo Clan."
Luo Clan? Young princess? F***, I'm going to involve myself in this game's politics.
If politic could become a person, he would make him as an arch-enemy and torture him!
"Alpha, may I know what she looks like?" He asked.
"You'll meet her tomorrow, she arrived a few minutes ago and is now resting."
The Luo Clan's main house is very far after all, as Tornado remember it right, it should be near that mysterious mountain. This thought reminds him of something.
"Right, Alpha Wolf, Uno told me on the way here that the explosion on Bioco is under investigation by our guild. Is that true?"
The Bioco is a facility that focuses on researching zombie viruses, it was built to discover a cure and help humanity getting stronger by creating powerful and effective weapons against the undead.
"It is true but I'm sorry, I can't tell you more than that. Is there any question?"
"I understand, then what about the payment?" He said with a serious face, he looks like a very different person when it comes to money.
His question makes Alpha Wolf's mouth twitch slightly, out of all questions you could ask, that's the first thing you could come out with? Shouldn't that suppose to be the last question to wrap up the conversation?
"Well, it was precise as Uno told you."
Alpha Wolf trusts Uno on this matter even though he didn't know just how much money will be sent to someone like him. Probably not that much.
Little did he know that he's on the way to having a trust issue…
"Alright, I'll train that someone and makes her entered the top 3!" Tornado said with a smile full of determination.
I'll give him something for this matter, Tornado thought to himself. It looks like Uno knows his condition well as a poor bloke so he recommends Alpha Wolf his name, he doesn't want to have any owe in any kind of form, so he must repay this kindness.
Still, isn't it weird that he was chosen instead of anyone else? Furthermore, he doesn't have any experience to train someone and he also didn't know how the process of Player's Examination is. This makes him asked.
"Alpha Wolf. Can you tell me the reason why you choose me instead of anyone else?"
"Oh? You didn't know?" He asked with a surprised face.
Seeing this, Tornado's right eyebrows shot up in confusion while the left one standstill.
"Do you know someone with the name Clover?"
Clover? That name rings a bell. Oh, wait. His small loose brain finally remembers someone with that name.
As soon he remembers it, a frown could be seen on his forehead.
"I know someone with that name, why?"
"I see." He sighed helplessly, "so you don't know what happens." He stood up then searches for a certain binder filled with the information regarding that name on the brown shelf behind where Tornado is sitting.
He searches thoroughly from right to left with his finger and it was moving slowly by each binder but it doesn't touch anything, it just moves slowly, browsing the shelf.
Curious why Alpha Wolf acts like that as soon that name appears, Tornado can't help but to turn his head.
"Here it is." His eyes shot up in satisfaction as soon he finds what he looking for.
He turned around and give the black binder to Tornado, "here, the answer is inside it."
Black binder and bunch of papers inside it and it seems the binder ltried its best to get those papers together.
He received it and asked, "what's this?" he asked curiously.
"Just open it and you'll know the reason."
