After a long pause, Alpha Wolf said, "Nagi, I appreciate the offer but I have to turn it down."
"Why?" Nagi subconsciously raised his voice and slapped the desk. In the next moment, he realized his actions and quickly apologized.
"I-I'm sorry for my rudeness, but may I know the reason behind your words?"
"Nagi. No matter how slick and cunning you are, you cannot win if the opponent is him." Alpha Wolf got up from his seat and turned his body.
Behind his desk were wide and long window panels. He gazed out through the window with his arms on his back.
"What makes you say that, Alpha?" Ruin asked instead of Nagi. As far as she knew, Tornado doesn't have someone backing him up, the only one who did so was Alpha Wolf's guild. If Alpha killed him, no one wouldn't mind as he was only a nameless nobody.
He was powerful but there were many ways to make up for it.
