6:00 AM
The rising sun had finally shown it's warm head to this side of the planet. It's rays of light had provided a soothing warmth over the windy atmosphere. The two boys had already taken their leave from home, one energetically ready for the upcoming day, the other exhausted.
"Why are we up so early?!?" Ford groaned loudly, falling onto Torin as they treaded atop the sidewalk. "Just shut up already. You already know why!" Torin barked, but that didn't stop Ford from latching onto him. "Oh come on! I was having such a great dream! Then before I knew it I was up and thrown in a shower!"
Torin chuckled, "Your the one who wanted to stay at my place. If I wanted to keep you a secret from my family, I had to get your ass early." Their steps were a combination between regret and confidence. Perhaps if Ford hadn't slept over, he'd still be in bed by now. Similar to Ford, perhaps if those events hadn't occurred, Torin wouldn't be in such a chipper mood. He did tell him no at first, so it's not his fault he was met with such a fate.
*Snap!*
"Oh geez! I almost missed them!" Lillia frantically said, hopping out of a nearby bush that they passed. The young girl had to hurry this morning as to not miss their journey to school. At this point, she was a bonafide stalker. She was slowly picking up on Torin's habits and his nature. But that wouldn't do much for her would it? The most she could do at this point was just to stalk him and hope he'd meet in an unfortunate event. Although... To be fair, it was rather insane to wish death upon someone to prove a theory.
They stopped at the crossroad. The light flashed green so Torin instinctually made his first couple of steps forwards.
[ "Hey, wait!" Ford reached out but was too late. In an instant, a large truck had sped past the road, flashing a strong breeze to Ford's face. Lying before him was a streak of blood stretching along the roadside. At the end of the red journey was but a corpse, lifeless to it's empty breaths and it's soundless beats. ]
A young man by the name of Torin had met his second death of highschool. He laid limp in the middle of the road, catching Ford and Lillia in a breathless demeanor. Lillia had dropped her camera before covering her mouth. She trembled and froze like before, teal eyes watching Ford scamper towards his friend "Torin!" He shouted frantically, making his way to the crushed body, decimated by the wheels of an eighteen-wheeler.
His left leg had twisted at a 180°, his right flattened due to the work of the tires. The flesh of his arms were soft and loose. They revealed the bones of the young man, shattered with the pressure of the catalase of death. Ford rubbed the male's stomach intently but realized that it was all meat. He beated on his chest but furthermore could only feel the remains of a shattered chest plate.
"T-Torin?" He asked, waterworks finally casting themselves in his eyes. Finally falling to his knees, his body went limp. He peered down at him with a sense of urgency rushing through his veins. Lillia could only watch, and even at that, she failed. Tears had streaked down her face, wondering as to whether or not she causeed this. Was wishing for his death truly the reason for this mess? One could only wonder. Taking a step back, she was ready to head home, possibly throw up and call in a couple days as being sick.
"The hell are you doing?!" The young man had taken to his feet, spitting blood as he peered down to the peasant before him. With a frown equipped, he searched his now shredded bag to find the shattered brush of his.
"!!!"
Both Ford and Lillia were at the pique of what they listed to be truth. "Torin!" Ford dived atop the young man and tackled him to the floor. Tears flowed down his face as his grip only increased. "Man! I missed you! I missed you so much!" Rubbing his teary eyes on Torin, he rested his jaw atop the male's chest.
Torin was unamused, taking the time to stare up at the sky. He couldn't move, the other student was atop him, bawling his eyes out at the thought of losing his new friend. 'What a damn softie.' He comments, resting his head on the concrete.
Lillia on the other hand was in for another surprise. She blinked twice before rubbing her eyes. 'No-Wait! He lived?!' She took a step back, confused to all levels of belief. That is, before she had swiftly taken grasp of the camera and snapped a picture.
Upon gazing at its image, she realized a despairing fact. "Oh wait... Hmm..." She peered closer and realized something. "If Villa saw this what would she think?" Again, she thought to herself, this time rubbing her temples.
'I asked to see a boy getting killed then revived. Not some gay love on the street.'
"Right!" Using the thoughts in her head as a guide, she pursued the two further along. "Alright! Shut it!" Torin pushed Ford off of him and took to his feet. He flashed his lifeless eyes at him before turning away. "Look, I'm unkillable. That's that. So stop being a goddamn pest." He threw the mangled bag over his shoulder before beginning his journey once more. Ford had simply sat in the street, watching as the male conquered the distance on his lonesome. Quickly, he shuffled to his feet and chased after him, "Wait!"
Torin had failed in understanding the boy's feelings. It wasn't something he could understand. Similar to that of friendship. "Hey, I'm just happy your fine man, can't I be-" "No..."
In one word, he halted the words before they came, "You already know my secret so stop acting stupid and bawling your eyes out. For Pete's sake, the least you could do is to cover it up. Not make a goddamn scene." Ford removed his eyes and brought his attention to the buildings they passed. It was then that he realized something. He couldn't be a crybaby around Torin. He'd better off not having a friend in the first place. Instead, he'd have to man up and face the problems before him.
"What a heartfelt bromance..."
Lilia comments, tailing their rather loud conversation. "Well, whatever. I've got the plan, so I just have to snap a quick pic!"
----------------------------------------------
[ Torin and Ford we're heading upstairs. "Watch your step." Ford tells Torin. Torin instead, slipped on the juice and snapped his neck on his fall. ]
Ford held his stomach, spotting the dead eyes of Torin toppled with his snapped neck, laying in the middle of the somewhat empty hall. Lillia, to whom was hiding behind the safety of a wall had gone stiff once more. She lowered her camera and stared into it, "No... This is... I'll snap it next time." The girl reassures herself, painting a grande mental image for next time!
----------------------------------------------
"Ghraahhghg!!" Torin fell from his chair and crawled onto the floor. Ford jumped, "Waah! What's wrong!" It was now lunch and the teenager was choking. He fell to his back, holding his neck as he weakly pointed to his milk. "Got it!"
[ Ford grabbed the chocolate milk and poured it into his open mouth, further drowning him in the process. ]
Lillia, who peeked in through the classroom door could only facepalm. Even she wasn't so oblivious to matters as serious as these. But then again, Torin was also a fool who took hand and hand in directing him to the milk. "What a pair of idiots." Before she could snap a photo, Torin rose from the grave,
"Damn, that was unpleasant." He rubbed his throat, frowning upon seeing Ford's dumb smile. "Thanks.... You sure as hell helped a ton..."
----------------------------------------------
During physical education, one couldn't bring her camera. As such, she could only watch the two students as they ran their laps around the field. "Why am I even here?" She asked herself, narrowing her eyes as the other students began to stretch.
[ Suddenly, the two ran past a large, old tree at the edge of the field. The tree fell and killed Torin before he even knew it. Lillia's mouth fell agape, watching the sight unfold before her. Swiftly, she turned to the students stretching just a good distance away from the tree. Then back at Ford dragging the flattened corpse out from under the bark. ]
"I... But... But how?" She asked, now rubbing her temples as a ferocious migraine assaulted her senses.
----------------------------------------------
Finally, the day had ended, and Torin was finally ready to leave. This time, he and Ford were out early. Yet, the rain assaulted the skies by tenfold. "Looks like we'll need our umbrellas." Torin states whipping out his black umbrella before leaving the cover of the school entrance. "Hey wait up!"
The sky was cloudy-grey, baring rain that fell like the beating of bullets. Even for a high-end camera, it became rather difficult to catch a good snap of the two. "Hmm... What a pain..." Lillia was breaking out of her jolly mannerisms. This death thing was getting to her. She's seen far more death than an average person would in just one day.
Unfortunately, fate hadn't planned to stop. "Hey, wait up!" Ford called out to Torin as he ran to catch up, wielding a purple umbrella of his own. Lillia watched from a distance as the smaller male caught up with the taller.
[ Before her very eyes, she saw a bang of lightning strike the male. In an instant, he released the umbrella and fell face first, smashing his jelly-like brains into the hard compound of the concrete. ]
Ford shielded his eyes and ears before checking as to what the problem was. Lillia to whom was in the distance checked left, then checked right. Again, nobody was there. "How the hell am I supposed to snap a picture of that?!?!!!" She had finally broken!
In just one day, the peaceful girl had not only witnessed the death of a boy five times! But in that same day, she brought death upon an inanimate object. Flinging the camera to the floor in pure irritation, she shattered the contents into millions of pieces before giving up on her project.
