Chapter One Hundred and Three: The Empress and the Duchess
And by doing so, the Empress made yet another human being flustered because of her actions. It was as if her way for someone to obey her without causing any further ruckus.
Flustered as she was, the Duchess blinked and stayed stupefied for a couple of moments. It was then she answered the Empress when the latter pulled away from her face and made some distance. "Of course, Your- Lady!"
Seeing how the Duchess reacted, Haneul looked at her and chuckled. "Well, that was amusing. In any way. Why did you cause such ruckus earlier?"
The Empress never expected for her to come from a Duchy. The way she acted was out of character. However, it was a good thing that the Duchess stayed down to earth and bubbly despite gaining the prestigious title.
