JESSICA: Hey Mister Saltsman!
Jax turns and sees Jessica and Jason.
JESSICA: Surprise!
JASON: (Grins) Hey bro!
He is speechless as he just stared at the both of them with his mouth wide open. Only a gasp escaped his mouth...

JAX: (His eyes glistens) Seriously?

Jax, Jessica and Jason enters the hall and soon another round of applause is heard with a standing ovation.
MC: And ladies and gentlemen I introduce to you Mister Saltsman 2022/2023, Jax Seville!
He walks majestically in his three pieces navy blue suit and Oxford shoes, Jessica wore a navy blue Halter neck gown to match thanks to Jason who placed an order for the gown from his father's boutique.

SYLVIA: Kim Eva! Who wears snickers under such a beautiful evening ball gown?
KIM EVA: I'm not comfortable with heels, I might trip and maybe sprain my ankles. By the way why aren't you dressed yet?
SYLVIA: I changed my mind.
KIM EVA: Why?
SYLVIA: (Eyes glistens) There's no point going when I'll keeping seeing him with someone else.
KIM EVA: Who?
SYLVIA: Rex!
KIM EVA: (Slams the table) I knew it! I knew it's because of him you were never yourself since he started dating Olivia.
SYLVIA: (Whimpers) I lost him!
KIM EVA: The ball is still at your feet, you should play it quickly before you loose possession.
SYLVIA: What do you mean?
KIM EVA: Rex cares much about you, he loves you and no matter how he tries to get you off his head you are stuck in it, stop restraining yourself and thinking you could get over him. Sweetie, rather than sit here sobbing you should get that thick ass up and go fight for your man before it's too late!
Sylvia wipes her face and gets down from her bed. With the help Kim Eva she was doing well with her preparation.

MC: Thank you Mr Saltsman 2019 in the person of Jax Seville for that wonderful speech, right now we'll be welcoming our two times back to back Miss Saltsman in the person of Olivia Matthews.
Olivia walks majestically to the podium as background music is heard.
OLIVIA: Good evening lovely ladies and handsome gentlemen....

KIM EVA: You're good to go.
SYLVIA: Except for my heels.
KIM EVA: Well I don't think that'll be necessary since you're gonna be running. You should be there before Olivia officially announces Rex as her boyfriend. Go now, I'll catch up with you soon but try as much as possible no to ruin your make up with so much tears 'cause I'm bad at repairing worn out faces.
SYLVIA: I'll try! (She dashes out of the room with her heels in her hands)

OLIVIA: It is my pleasure to announce to you my newest boyfriend...
SYLVIA: (Yells) Stop!
Everyone turns to the entrance as Sylvia walks on the aisle in a long, pink, front slit, off-shoulder gown and her heels still in her hand, there was total silence as nobody knew what she was up to.
Rex stands up with his eyes wide open on seeing her. Sylvia soon began to whimper, she couldn't put herself together, she was utterly breaking gradually; she drops her heels as she keeps walking towards Rex who was already standing.
SYLVIA: I get it now, remember when you told me to calculate how long I spent staring at you than any other person? You were right, no matter how I force myself to disagree, I can't help it but stare at you longer. I needed you to stay! But I let you drift away. (Her make up was getting ruined) I... I've been an ass, I know that! I didn't treat you right, I know that also. But... But I... I still needed you to be mine. I'm loosing it, even in pieces of the floor I still need you. I'm helplessly falling you! It doesn't change anything though but I just felt I should tell you. (She turns around and begins to leave)
A tear drops from Rex's eyes.
Olivia comes down from the podium with glistening eyes, she walks towards Rex and kisses him passionately.
OLIVIA: I think we should call it off from here, you never belonged to me! You're hers, I see it in your eyes so go after your real girl. (Sad smile) Just know I truly loved you!
Rex leaves her as he runs after Sylvia.

Sylvia just sat by the water fountain crying her eyes out, By this time her eyes were already blood shot.
Rex sees Sylvia sitting by the water fountain, he just stood watching her.
REX: Sylvia Wilson!
SYLVIA: (Looks at him from a considerable distance and stands up) I'm sorry I'm causing you so much pain right now.
REX: You loved me? Why didn't you ever tell me? Even after I acted as fool to you? Do you have the slightest hint of the way you made me feel? (Another tear drops from his glistening eyes)
SYLVIA: I swear I'm sorry, I know I did cause you unnecessary pains but I love you! I really do!
REX: You can't still be standing there telling me that you love me. Come here you!
Sylvia begins to walk and soon began to run towards him. She jumps on him on reaching him and wraps her legs round his waist as she kisses him passionately. Kim Eva who was just coming sees them and just smiled as she watched them, a smile of satisfaction and fulfillment.
KIM EVA: Cut this scene for now you two, there will be enough time for that.
They paused on hearing Kim Eva's voice then smiled before they continued totally ignoring Kim Eva.
KIM EVA: Ugggghhh! You guys are annoying! I'mma just go inside and sit patiently waiting for you two. (Walks away)
SYLVIA: (Amidst kissing) Looks like you've been doing some serious rehearsals with Olivia's lips.
REX: You're still the boss.
SYLVIA: Not anymore!
REX: Well yours are better and I don't think I'll stop anytime soon.
SYLVIA: (Giggles and locks her lips back with his)
TWO MINUTES LATER
KIM EVA: Yo! You two really need to come inside righ'now I'm already getting bored! Don't forget to fix yourself Sylvy you look creepy! (Hands over a small make up bag to her)
SYLVIA: (Breathlessly breaks the kiss) Be there in a couple of minutes. (To Rex) I better wear my heels now.
REX: (Smiles)
SYLVIA: Don't tempt me into kissing again.

MC: Now is the time we all have been waiting for, the main reason we're here tonight! It is my pleasure to welcome the Proprietress of Saltsman Highschool, Mrs Barbara Saltsman!
A loud applause followed by music was made to usher in the Proprietress followed by the Proprietor, the Principal, Jax and Olivia as they emerged the podium.
MRS BARBARA: A warm good evening to you all. It's the time we've all be waiting for to know our new Mister and Miss Saltsman Highschool for the 2022/2023 academic session. But before I go on I'll like to say that this ceremony should've been held before the spring break of last session but was shifted due to some challenges and as a result of that, our new winners would be serving for a shorter period of time which is till spring break of this session. (Takes a small piece of paper from the principal)
(Rex and Sylvia enters)
PROPRIETRESS: Our new Miss Saltsman, is from the same lucky class this year and she's no other than the Amazon woman of Grade eleven in the person of...
(Dead silence took over the hall)
PROPRIETRESS: Sylvia Wilson!
Thunderous claps began sounding round the hall followed by loud music. Sylvia walks down the aisle in Elegance and power like the boss that she is, she exchanges pleasantries in form of hugs and handshakes when necessary. The loudness increased the more as Olivia hugged her.
PROPRIETRESS: Thank you! Next is our new Mister Saltsman, he's no other person than or very own Chris Coleman.
On hearing the name Chris Coleman a lump grew in Sylvia's throat but she tried her best to keep her cool.
Chris walks up to podium, he did the necessary and when he got to Sylvia they just shook hands like nothing transpired between them.
The ceremony went on afterwards as normal, Everyone were in their ball dance moods including the pairs Jax and Jessica, Rex and Sylvia, even Jason and Bridgette. Kim Eva seemed to be the only one not dancing as she is busy with food, she seemed not care. Dylan from the Ravens'football team approaches her...
DYLAN: Hey babe!
KIM EVA: (Amidst food in her mouth) What do you want Dylan.
DYLAN: Mind dancing with me?
KIM EVA: (Doesn't gives him much concentration, still eating) I'm busy as you can see...
DYLAN: You can always come back to your food just spare me ten minutes of your time please.
KIM EVA: (Looks at her watch) Just ten minutes!
DYLAN: Yes ten minutes.

SYLVIA: What made you love me?
REX: I don't know maybe because you're beautiful?
SYLVIA: (Giggles) I know I am beautiful, but what else? Tell me.

Rex: No!
REX: When I saw you that very day you were going back to school for resumption. I was actually taking a walk when I saw this beautiful girl with round glasses at the back seat of her mom's car.
SYLVIA: I just entered the environment newly you know, haven't gotten any chance to go round the neighborhood yet.
REX: Good thing we're both new then, we'll explore the neighborhood together to the fullest.
SYLVIA: (Kisses him) You have no idea how I feel knowing that I have no valid competitor.
REX: (Smiles lovingly) When did you fall in love with me?
SYLVIA: When I asked you to be my personal tutor. You know, you taught me more than just Algebra II. You taught about real love and I can now freely smile like an idiot whenever I realize that you're mine and only mine alone. You own me now!
KIM EVA: Alright times up can I go back to my food now?
DYLAN: Sure! Dancing with you is one of the best thing that could happen to me.
KIM EVA: (Smirks) Well to me, reversed is the case.
She leaves him and walks back to her seat to continue from where she stopped with her food, but before she could start eating Rex approached her.
REX: Hey!
KIM EVA: Bro.
REX: Could you ever stop eating carelessly?
KIM EVA: Nope! My love for food could never be over emphasized you know that.
REX: If they asked you to choose between food and I which would you choose?
KIM EVA: Simple! I'll be eating food by the time I'm asked to choose so I'll definitely choose you!
REX: (Laughs) You're funny! Good thing you hit the gym regularly or else I wonder how obese you'ld be.
KIM EVA: Not possible! (Raises her gown up a little) Look!
REX: (Surprised) You're wearing sneakers under a ball gown?
KIM EVA: Yep! Sounds cool right?
REX: Absolutely not! You're ridiculous!

Sylvia is busy receiving congratulatory hugs and handshakes from people when olivia approaches her.
OLIVIA: (Smiling) Hi!
SYLVIA: Hey.
OLIVIA: Congratulations once again.
SYLVIA: Thanks!
OLIVIA: I hope you're better than me in being a role model and a girlfriend.
SYLVIA: (Smiles)
OLIVIA: Y'no, giving up what you worked and strived hard to achieve is quit tasking, but sometimes that's what makes us stronger. Whatever happens between you both don't ever leave him, he loves you more than you can imagine, he could even kill for you. Sad thing he didn't have the same feeling for me, it's painful though but... You deserve him better. (Wipes her eyes which was already glistening)
Sylvia just hugged her...
SYLVIA: Thank you, for letting him go for me.
OLIVIA: (Snorts) You should thank him for not giving up on you.

JAX: ...You mean to tell me Jason talked you into dating me?
JESSICA: Yep! He gave me undoubtful reasons to date you. (Smirks) You should give him a proper thank you that he deserves.
JAX: (Smiles) Thank you for accepting to date me.
JESSICA: It's cute knowing you were actually sulking and sad about me not dating you.
JAX: I could always be sulky if it means me keeping you!
JESSICA: (Leans forward and kisses him)
Jason, Yvonne and Bridgette just watched them so their thing.
YVONNE: Who would've thought he would actually date her?
BRIDGETTE: Right from the start I knew she was the one!
YVONNE: He's out of our singles' club.
JASON: Soon I'll join him leaving you two.
BRIDGETTE: I thought you were dating Landon?
JASON: Naaah! He's not romantic enough. I can't wait to enter college where I can see so many juicy romantic men like me.
BRIDGETTE: (Irritated) Yuck!
JASON: That's how it's to you, but it's actually gonna be like a dream come true to me. (Smiles)

The Christmas seems to be complete now as snow just started, parents and guardians are beginning to troop in to pick up their children and wards.
Olivia and Kim Eva seemed to be one amongst the few students who moved with convoys and escorts.
As Kim Eva and Josh approached the black fleets of Rolls Royce, Kim Eva discovered something wasn't just right about the men; they didn't look familiar to her as she knew almost all the men that escorted them. They entered the limousine in the middle of the four Rolls Royce cars.
KIM EVA: Josh do you see what I'm seeing?
JOSH: What?
KIM EVA: The new faces?
JOSH: Maybe dad employed a new set of convoy and escorts.
KIM EVA: They don't seem friendly, I think something's fishing!
JOSH: (Jokes) You should become a police detective rather thana physiotherapist it fits you better. Calm down sis nothing's wrong, you don't expect a bodyguard to smile.
KIM EVA: I just hope you're right.
