Not far from the old guy's house, a few men riding horses and three carriages halted at the very end of the village, right before the stream. They were armed with few gunshots, blades and swords. As if they were going for a battle.
Samuel and Gilbert got off of their carriage. They walked to the front of the men who were waiting for their order. Unlike others, both Samuel and Gilbert carried nothing with them. The presence of themselves was enough to complete their mission.
Gilbert turned his head to Samuel who was standing beside him. "So, which way should we go?"
"Derek." Samuel called his personal housekeeper — his personal assistant. Derek came forward and bowed his head to his master and the mayor. "Lead us the way."
Hearing that, Gilbert's brows were furrowed in confusion. His eyes narrowed down at Derek suspiciously.
"Please follow me, Sir." Said Derek.
