They spent some time inside their house having some flashbacks of the beautiful and fun memories they had in this place.
Sighing they all went outside to see a big jeep parked just outside.
He was quite surprised and confused as to why they were walking towards the jeep.
'Weren't we supposed to go to next dimension? Why are we going towards that jeep? Is this some kind of artifact in shape of jeep?'
Various question started emerging on his head which he couldn't contain within himself and asked his mother
"Why are we going to the jeep? Aren't we supposed to go through some portal or such?"
"We are going through portal but we need to get there first don't we?" she answered chuckling
"But can't grandpa just fly us off or something. Wouldn't it be fast?" he questioned again
"How can he use his Qi when there is none in this dimension silly" she answered laughing lightly
"Ohh" he said since he could only open his mouth as such since it was quite unexpected for him as he could use them there after all.
They then quickly got on the jeep which was driven by some stranger he never saw but didn't question since it was quite common for rich families to hire drivers to drive their vehicle.
After an hour long drive they were in what seemed like a cliff deep in the forest. He didn't see anything out of the ordinary there but since they were there 'there must be something that helps in going to the next dimension or the portal itself hidden somewhere' he thought.
They got off the jeep and it went back the way it came from while they followed his grandpa leading towards the edge of the cliff.
His grandpa just continued walking past the edge and was walking in something which seemed like a solid surface. He followed suit and felt something hard sort of like a rock below him.
After they walked about ten or so meters from the cliff; his grandpa disappeared so he extended his hand where his grandpa was before and saw his hand disappear as well. He was quite intrigued and played with it for a while with his sister doing the same beside him.
They played for few tens of seconds until they heard their mother call them waiting on the other side.
They both moved passed the barrier and saw a straight tunnel in front. They walked for about two minutes on the tunnel and reached its end where there was something gigantic parked but didn't see what from there.
He looked from the side window and saw which seemed like a gigantic whale with wings on it. It was huge with a shape that seems whale with materials like that of a ship while it had big wings on the side he was looking on and possibly other side as well. There were lots of windows from where lights could be seen inside. He then went to the window on the other side and saw a big wheel on the back but didn't know its use since he thought the wings could fly this thing but didn't question its purpose since it was there and must have its use.
Watching him and his sister watching in interest. His mother explained
"It is void ship which will be taking us to our dimension. There are basically holes on some places in the void which leads to different dimensions. The place where you played is the hole to this dimension and the same is true for other dimension as well. There is many such ships goings from one dimension to another taking people onboard but since it is expensive mostly rich people travel through it.
The other way to travel to other dimension is by using similar artifacts at the level of divine or higher. The void ship is a divine artifact that was discovered long ago and is said to be from the era of gods simply speaking the strongest ever seen and the aim of all cultivators."
"Wow. That sounds thrilling. Aren't there anyone strong like that now?" he questioned excited since it was the first he ever heard of this or any of such sorts from his mother so he wanted to know more.
"There are none that I heard of but some people believe that they can reach the level of strongest if they can find the dimension where the so called gods cultivated" she answered
"Can you tell me more about the history and the things related to cultivation mom" he questioned since he wanted to know more about this world where he will be spending the rest of his life in.
"Sure, Do you also want to hear Emi?" she questioned sensing her listening silently as well
"I would love to" she answered eagerly holding onto the arms of our beloved MC.
