Third Person
Oeillet de règne Académie: Faculty
6:42 A.M.
Klavier wasn't happy that first thing in the morning, he had to choose an outfit, apply nude make-up for only 30 minutes because he was needed for the meeting. He looked at his iPhone and clicked his tongue as he read the last text from Racquel which was already 17 minutes ago.
And then he looked up when a giggly voice greeted him. A blonde girl with two bags hooked on either side of her shoulder came up to him with skipping steps. The tanned boy looked confused as he scanned her up and down.
Unconsciously, the first thing he noticed was the girl's change of clothes. Racquel usually wears her dark red stiletto heals, but the stress and conflicts that have happened for the past few days mist have gotten to her.
"Good rubber shoes, girl..." Klavier complimented with a shaky voice then offered to help her with the other shoulder bag in which the girl happily accepted. Racquel showed him her dark red stilettos inside the other paper bag in her hands to assure her fashion freak friend that she did not wear rubber shoes with a floral knee-length dress.
"Why don't you just wear this?" Klavier scolded her like a manager to an actress, "You complicate things, darling..."
Racquel laughed and explained herself, "I wore this so that I won't be late for walking so elegantly in my heels," she posed like a model for a bit before Klavier pinched her cheeks and laughed
"Honey," Klavier called, "You're late..."
"Yeah, turns out rubber shoes would not prevent me from walking elegantly," Racquel winked.
"Elegantly slow..." the male corrected and started to walk towards the meeting place which was the faculty.
"I'm sorry," she apologized and hugged his lean bicep to squeeze it, "My aunt was supposed to take me here but she didn't show up so I had to take the bus"
Klavier held his chin up and proudly said, "I told you it's better if you ride with me..."
"Yeah, but my dad's worried sick that I didn't go home last night so I had to make an appearance," Racquel explained.
Suddenly, he asked a question that made the girl distanced her way from the boy, "Leather belt or slippers?"
"Wha—" Racquel dropped the bag from her hands with wide eyes.
"Punishment for not coming home!" Klavier laughed as he realized her friend's unaccustomed to his country's practices, "Well, it depends— last month, it's a broomstick then last week, a hanger."
"You're creeping me out, girl. Just— stop!" Racquel showed disgust and playfully punched Klavier's chest before taking a peek inside the paper bag where her favorite shoes were in.
"Apologies, I forgot I'm the only one who has an Asian parent here," Klavier hugged her and continued walking the boulevard.
The grey-haired teen took a hint that the blonde girl was bothered about something so he got her attention and snapped his fingers loudly, "Gucci to Racquel!" he called her stunned friend. She did look and apologized for being a little zoned out as she quoted it.
"You looked stressed," Klavier spoke again, "Oh my! I told you not to wear a skirt or dresses when taking the bus because perverts will grope your ass!"
"It's not that!" Racquel blushed and let go of Klavier's arm, "It's my aunt... She was supposed to call me yesterday but no miss calls or anything from her..."
In order to cheer her up, Klavier relied on his humorous tactics as he put his arm around her shoulders, "Adults," he mentioned and sighed heavily, "Too much work and can't call but will manage to spank you with a steady schedule and number of hits."
He waited patiently for the female to lighten her face up, but she just seemed more occupied than ever. And that's the last dose of his morning patience as he stopped walking to talk to the girl, "Come on! I'm trying to make you laugh!" the male pouted, "At least show me a grin or something!"
She exhaled and finally said, "Okay..."
Klavier crossed his arms and motioned the girl to sit on the clean tiles with him as they leaned their backs on the wall, "I'm worried..." she started, losing the usual pitch of her voice, "Not just about my aunt, I'm also worried about Raine and Saccharide. We did them the worst possible thing as friends."
"Well I, for one thing, don't regret it!" Klavier reasoned with his exaggerated hand movements, "You do realize our dearest girl is with a possible killer," the boy spatted while the girl just let her bangs act as a curtain for her upset face.
Racquel stared afar, once again imagining the big cloud of smoke she saw the day of the fire, "I know, but this doesn't feel right..."
Klavier frowned, his mind became blank and empty as he couldn't formulate the words to express the happenings in their life. But it was fueled with rage when a voice came across the peaceful singing tunes of the birds. For the record, they would rather spend the entire day listening to butterflies flapping their wings, instead of hearing his voice.
"Speaking of Satan," Klavier sneered, stood up, and helped Racquel stand up without revealing the lingerie under her flowy dress.
Raine walked ahead of Saccharide while still holding his hands to stop the bubbling conflict between the two males. The girl has a new expression on her face, it was either rage or disappointment, but Klavier was not liking the silent treatment his best friend was giving him because of this boy.
Once they passed each other, Klavier called the female's name. She didn't bother to stop walking and just declined his request for attention.
...
"Klavier!" Racquel thanked God for reminding her to wear rubber shoes so, she could easily run to aid when Klavier ran and pounced on the walking couple like a tiger on two gazelles.
It was a big turn of events in which no one has ever expected their gay friend to act like a feral raised child. The two males rumbled on the floor like massage rollers as the two females tried to pull them apart from each other. Klavier just started letting out punches to hit Saccharide in the face, but they were uncalculated, so the results.
Being more experienced in a fight, Saccharide took advantage of the boy's lack of skills to make fun of him by pushing him off his body using his horse-like powered legs. Klavier tumbled, landed on his back, and was unable to continue the fight he had started.
"Saccharide!" Raine immediately pulled Saccharide up and hugged him in the corner to calm his raging adrenaline. Shrunken pupils and raging fists were ready to take someone else's life if they hadn't put a barrier between them. Racquel fanned her handkerchief to give Klavier some breeze before she wrapped his knuckles to stop the blood from the wound.
The white handkerchief was soiled with red stains and the floor wasn't any different. Klavier looked up only to see his best friend kissing the psychopath's face. Racquel saw the remorse on Klavier's face and sighed.
Racquel turned to look at the two people watching from the end of the corridor and shouted angrily, "You just watched them fight? Are you a cop or a boxing event judge?"
"Fucking teens, get a grip will you?" the wacky investigator joined the scene, beside him was the grotesquely fat officer who was known as Saccharide's witness to his innocence, "Minutes before the meeting and you're killing each other!"
Angry as a bull, Racquel walked up to the grown-ups and lectured them— well, technically just one of the two, "Jack off, Easton! You should've helped, instead of watching!"
"Relax honeydew," Easton walked slowly to where the three other teens were as his voice started to be more recognizable, "Now I know their behavioral fighting setting, it was much easier for me. Thank you boys! Now I don't have to kiss your girlfriends to make the both of you fight me..." he giggled, but no one supported his offensive farce.
"Can we just exterminate you?" asked Racquel and stomped her way back towards them, "Like for the sake of our peace..."
Still hugging his girl, Saccharide shouted and pointed to the exhausted teen, seating on the floor, "That's what I'm going to do if that bastard will not stop interfering with our lives," he was about to attack again when Raine kept a firm stare at his hysterically wide eyes.
"Be careful with your words, Mr. Heinz," Easton barricaded their view of each other and handed Saccharide a piece of scratch paper, "It might bite you back later. Anyway, sign this..."
Raine let him go as his heartbeat came back from rapid to normal. He examined the paper and squinted his eyes as he tried to find some trace of ink or text but there wasn't any.
"What the fuck for? It's blank..." he pointed out to the investigator.
Easton smiled and handed him a pen before explaining his motivation, "I'm a fan of your clan so I just have to," excitedly, he took the teen's hand and shook it, "It's nice to meet you. I'm Easton Broshe, I'm honored to be the one to arrest you..."
"What the fuck are talking about?" Saccharide asked and crumpled the paper before throwing it on the floor. Raine took the initiative to pick it up and gave it to the police officer beside the investigator.
"Saccharide, please hear him out," the girl begged and it made the boy's eyes soften.
Easton smirked, "Shall we start?"
They led the 4 teens into the faculty room. The sun just awakened to bring light on the world but their faces were darkened as they all have their stomachs churn in nervousness and fear of what's about to come.
Unpredictably, Easton took a turn to the left-wing and didn't lead them inside the office.
"Hey old shit—!" Saccharide called him but they kept going. Rolling his eyes, they continued to follow him.
As they came to a halt, Klavier gagged and turned to Racquel to hug her. Memories of unbearable scenes entered both of their minds. Saccharide felt the need to cling closer to his lover as they were requested to enter the restroom where the two bodies were found impaled by the unknown weapon.
But it's not long until they find out who has the weapon...
"It's not going well for you now, is it?" Easton sneered and showed his toothy grin to his primary suspect.
Raine froze.
He was looking directly at the man beside her.
"Saccharide?" the girl whimpered.
