Third Person
Oeillet de règne Académie: Garden
10:37 A.M.
Raine didn't bother to change her clothes. She was still wearing her costume for the play. The pure white color of the fabric is now tainted with dirt, the smooth surface of her dress is now full of holes, and some of the beads on the end of her dress left their former placement.
"Ma'am, I'm sorry you can't enter," a man with a blurry face blocked her way and made her sit on the nearby bench.
Her eyes never left the sight of the garden she grew. She remembered the time when she entered there for the first time. Carnations greeted her back then, but now ashes are the only thing to inhale. Little by little, she grew healthy carnations that can survive through all seasons.
Then one flick of a match...
"Ma'am, it's dangerous there..." the man warned and tried making her look away from the scene.
Everything was gone...
"Just a little bit, Sir," she pleaded and tried crawling on the rough ground to escape the man blocking her way. "Please just a little bit. I just need to do—"
The man felt pity and made Raine sit on the bench once again. She stared at the girl's eyes and smiled, "I have a daughter too. When she has that look on her face, I know that something devastating happened at her school."
The man pulled something out of the box beside them and showed it to the girl. Her eyes lit up as she immediately received the object.
"I usually just give her a random bug and she'll forget about the thing" the man winked at her before looking at the female's bleeding knees. "I'm not supposed to give you things that we found on the scene but— I'll make an exception..."
The kind-hearted individual wrapped her scraped knees with a clean cloth from the medic kit before reassuringly comforting the anxious female, "You're bleeding... We need to get you to the clinic after I do this,"
His heels took him to his destination. Having the urge to look around, Saccharide just happened to look up and witness the black smoke reining the once clear sky.
'Who the fuck did this?' he thought as the fire workers walked past him, crashing his shoulders lightly on the process.
The paradise where his angel likes to dwell is now the re-enactment of the Black Death and the vision of the insides of the cremation machine.
No flower was left.
The big sturdy tree evaporated in the air.
It's basically hell...
"Raine..."
As he got closer to the area where a silent girl was sitting just staring at the melted gate entrance of the garden, his speed decreased until he came to a stop.
"I'll take her, Sir... Thank you very much," Saccharide muttered.
He looked at the man attending Raine intensely, but with soft eyes, the man instantly got the message and went away to help with the other fire workers.
"Saccharide..." she started crying, "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..."
He could do nothing but to carry her in his arms and take her to the care she needed. Her cries and whimpers filled his world, it was tearing him apart.
A man like him didn't know how to respond, but he vowed to try his best. On the other hand, Raine wanted to say something but could do nothing but to wrap her arms around his shoulders for support while he carried her effortlessly back to the clinic.
"Hey gorgeous..." he started, showing his genuine smile to the girl's lifeless eyes. "How's your first rehearsal?"
"I'm sorry," she apologized again, but the other words made his throat dry. "I can't do this anymore," the girl whimpered and let her hand drop from his neck to his front shirt to clasp his front shirt tightly.
Two normal student couples could do nothing against a war king...
"Your Father is not happy about us..." she added and looked at the boy with teary eyes. "Aquilla... He already told me about your Father's plan..."
'Damn that faggot...!' Saccharide thought but showed no evidence of anger on his face.
"Let—"
"Is it fun to be back on stage?" he interrupted her.
He stayed optimistic about the situation and continued to ask about her day at the theatre with her friends. The therapy thought him how to deal with different situations but this time, he wasn't sure if he was doing it right.
"Saccharide..." With a hint of seriousness, she mentioned his name.
"I'm sorry I'm not there to witness your actual acting skills" he kept his face smiling even though they wanted to drop because of the girl's sincere tone.
"Stop that..." she muttered.
"I bet Hollywood is now shaking its knees because of your performance." he chuckled before kissing her forehead. "I promise you next time I'll have Racquel film so I can watch it over and over again before I go to sleep..."
With a flustered face, she tried not to drown in his charm, "We should—"
He heaved her up close to his face and gave her a peck on her cheek before whispering in her ear, "I'm so proud of you, gorgeous!"
"I'm breaking up with you, Saccharide..."
...
Taking a shortstop, Saccharide stared at the girl's face. He was waiting for her to look away, but he was the one to turn his head because of the intense look of the female.
"Let's talk after I get you to the nurse," he said and continued walking.
"I- I can walk on my own..." said Raine and tried bringing down one of her legs, thinking that Saccharide would let her down.
"Even if you can fly, I'd still carry you," the male replied further by tightening his grip on the underside of the girl's thighs.
"So shut your pretty mouth..." Saccharide growled lightly.
The girl was persistent and continued to lecture the boy, "Saccharide, I know about the threat. The fire was the sign. Your Father will ruin your life if I stay by your side. I don't want that..."
"He already ruined my life, but then you came and stood by me. Only then, my life became a paradise. I'm not giving you up. I don't want that..." replied Saccharide.
"You're not listening to me!" Raine pouted and shouted at the male's not bothered face. "If he can light a whole quadrant of the garden on fire without being noticed— what more—"
Her voice was still so soft and mellow even when she's hungry, it poses no threat and became music to the male's ears.
"You don't know how much more gorgeous you look when you're trying to look angry," complimented Saccharide.
"I'm not trying to look angry." the girl complained and finally used her strength to push herself out of his grasp.
"Saccharide put me down!"
Shocked by the raise of her tone and the change of her voice, Saccharide loosened his touch and let the girl climb down from his arms. She successfully put herself down from Saccharide's arms and walked a few inches from the boy.
"I am angry because you're not listening to me!" screamed Raine.
There were no tears in her eyes, just pure wrath, and sadness. She approached him again and said directly to his face, "This is what he wants..."
She dug in the pockets of her dress and handed Saccharide the engagement ring the man gave him a while ago.
"Is this what you want?" Saccharide asked.
She walked away slowly without answering the question but the boy knew she's going to turn around and ran back to him. It's not Raine if she could last being angry with anyone this long.

"Someone told me that I'm her gun and she can't survive the battlefield without me." he reminded her before slipping the rose gold accessory that perfectly fits his ring finger.

"I can't I'm so— sorry I really can't..." Raine cried.
The boy laughed when the black-haired female came rushing back in his arms. Her acting skills were really phenomenal, he almost believed it for a second, the moment she threw the dirt-covered ring on his palm.
"I tried..." Raine cried some more while they walked together to the clinic. "But lying makes my insides rumble. I wasn't lying about your Father, though"
"And Aquilla really called me." the gIrl added before pouting.
"You did great!" He cheered her up after grinning nervously at the girl.
But to be frank, the boy was about to cry just seconds ago...

Oeillet de règne Académie: Clinic
10:43 A.M.
They arrived at the clinic; both of them did not bother to ask for assistance and went straight to the nearest door. Saccharide turned the doorknob and it was stuck.
"Shit! This one's broken!" he cursed, not realizing that it's actually locked and occupied.
"Uh, Sir... That room is occupied," warned the nurse on the assistance desk, but Saccharide was eager to make Raine rest so he kicked the door open.
The proud male smiled and smiled at the nurse, "I need to set this baby down and please prepare clean bandages..."
—before they entered the room.
...
"Now re—"
Raine blushed at the scene presented inside the infirmary room. Saccharide covered Raine's eyes from the horror, but she already saw the lewd scene.
"What the hell?! Ugh!" yelled Saccharide while hugging Raine.
"Sir Broshe?" Raine stuttered and asked the two males on the bed."—And Romien?! What are you two doing?"
Romie was lewdly tied on the bed missing his shirt while Sir Broshe was on top of him, reaching for the rope used to tie Romie.
Instead of getting off the younger male, Sir Broshe continued to hover on top of Romie to cut the rope, hoping to set the terrified student free. The knot was complicated and tied in a weird way that it cannot be discarded by just pulling.
And damn! Even with big scissors...
"Someone tied him here. I tried cutting them with these scissors but this is some professional wonder," the older male explained and showed Saccharide the scissors.
The grey-haired boy sighed in relief and finally removing his hands over Raine's eyes before kissing her forehead then approaching his adviser to check the scissors.
"What are— why are you tied in the bed without any top, Romien?" Raine asked and tried to calm down the traumatized brown-haired male.
"Your best friend molested me!" Romie exclaimed at her before whimpering.
It was foolish to ask, but the girl asked her question anyway, "Racquel or Klavier?"
The three boys stopped in their tracks before all of them replied in unison, "Racquel!"
The only female in the room put her hands up in defeat and let them do the work. After several minutes, Saccharide finally cut the thick rope with the thumbscrew he remembered he had.
"There... There..." Sir Broshe advised and got off Romie for the comforts of Saccharide. "Massage your wrist to continue the blood flow"
"I just said that you begged me to cover up for you then she did this when I tried to stop her from finding you..." explained Romie after putting on his shirt.
"I'm sorry, Romien..." apologized Raine and helped him massage his wrists.
The boy blushed at the girl's kind smile and replied, "It's alright. It's just traumatizing to be womanhandled by her"
"Where is she...?" Saccharide asked.
"She said she wants to find Raine, but before that, she went to find Klavier first," Romie replied.
"Where's Klavier?" Raine questioned again.
Before Romie could answer the question, a blonde girl came rushing in with blood splashed face, hands, and clothes.
"Restroom! Sir Broshe!" Racquel exclaimed and pulled Sir Broshe, but the older man tried calming her down first.
The once bubbly girl has immense fear plastered on her face, it changed when she spotted Raine in the room, "Raine! Oh my god!"
Racquel hugged her tight before repeatedly saying the words, "Thank goodness. You're fine..."
"Okay, what the fuck is happening?!" Saccharide, obviously, just half-informed, cursed for he did not know what happened when he was away for a while.
Not minding the blood staining her costume, Raine hugged back and asked her friend, "Racquel! Why are you bloody?!"
"Klavier! He—" the girl broke down into tears before pulling Raine out of the room to go somewhere on the side of the building.
Everyone followed them and all of them recognized where Racquel was leading them.
"The officer and the janitor... They—" Racquel stuttered and pointed to the inside of the boy's restroom.
Sir Broshe and Saccharide initiated to enter the space, their reflex made them cover their nose because of the pungent odor and grotesque scent coming from inside.
When they opened the door, there sat Klavier on the tiled floor, clothes are bloody just like Racquel's and he was checking the pulses of the two bloody men on the floor.
Sir Broshe looked away, unable to take all the supposed to be censored scene, he prayed, "Oh dear..."
The old janitor that they interrogated a while ago was pounded by a big nail, multiple deep holes are scattered on his body.
"Fucking hell," Saccharide backed away a little.
It was the same case with the slender policeman, but the only difference is that he was half-naked, his private part was inserted in his anus and he has more holes than the old man.
Klavier turned to them, eyes wide in terror before muttering the words, "They're already fucking dead..."
