I felt a wave of dizziness hit my head; I tried to stay awake, but the urge to sleep was more extraordinary than what I could bear, eventually making me doze after a lenient feud.
It was a long time since I experienced such a peaceful night; I woke up, but I wasn't in my room anymore.
'Where am I?' I immediately questioned,
Nothing and everything met my eyes simultaneously.
And in a second, my pupils capture a blinding green light, and the other was absolute darkness. It was just like a buzzing and blooming confusion.
I felt lighter than a feather, less dense than a floating spirit, and the thing that frightened me the most is that I couldn't feel my body or hear my heartbeats.
Following my panicked state, I did one last inspection, checking my pulse, and to my little medical knowledge, even I knew that at this moment, I'm supposed be dead.
Abruptly, I heard an affable voice resounding in the space. I tried to find where it came from, but my ears only detected an abyssal chasm.
"What about a dream?" the tone was sweeter than candy, more harmonious than a Mozart piece, and the clearest I ever heard.
'A lucid dream? Am I in a dream?'
A long silence resounded in the vacuum.
After a short while, the voice continued to speak inside my head, but this time, I was up to date.
"You are," the voice said.
He seemed to be fond of uttering short, vague answers.
'How realistic,' I marveled; never in my life, I had such an engaging dream.
The voice continued speaking, yet he only added more mysteries, "Finally, after twenty-three years, you decided to open the box I left you,"
'The box belongs to the voice owner?'
"Yes," he said.
I was speaking internally, but nothing trespassed his senses; all that said has been heard, so I decided to voice out my questions.
Inquisitorially, I implored a random concern, "Why am I here?"
A quick reply followed, "Because your, my son,"
"... Son?"
The whole conversation was odd and fruitless to my nosiness.
And ultimately, after detecting my troubled state, he spoke, holding a little more details, "Twenty-three years ago, I met a heartbroken lugubrious woman, and as the god of love, it was my duty to soften her burden, just like I did with thousands of the jade Emperor creations, however, to my surprise our lovely relationship for the first time with a mortal bore a result, it was known that gods couldn't have kids, yet, I discovered a fetus maturing right after I tended to her wounds,"
I cut him off, saying, "And that fetus was me?"
"Absolutely,"
The dream was becoming more and more amusing; I never thought I would be a demigod while unconscious, neither do I care; I probably will be back doing posters locking myself in my room for the rest of my life, so I had no problem sparing some time to entertain the god created by my imagination.
"Since I Am a demigod, and from the seed of the god of love himself, why would my face be like this?"
Contrary to my playful tone, his voice sounded serious, like a deeply hurt lioness, remending my mood.
"It was all coming from your laws seal. You see, gods rely on a power far more dominant than anything found in existence; that power is called "Laws," nature includes laws, people also the same, but for us, our whole being consists of laws, which means you as my son had much law power than your pairs. Hence, your laws were way more potent for an aleatory universe can contain, so I attributed a seal upon your body, and that same seal affected on your body, to what it is right now,"
'Such a nice explanation!'
I liked how the dream going with each passing second, which made me decide to have this absurd play, too, acting like a dignified demigod till the dream ends.
"Then father, am I going to heaven with you?"
They said the inner imagination was far more fascinating than a human can imagine; I wanted to see with my own eyes what my brain considers "heaven."
'Would it be rivers with honey and milk? Are fruits so sweet it melts in your mouth? Do Jools and emeralds grow on trees? Angels as servants to my need?'
However, his answer shattered my hopes, "You can't; your laws are chaotic and untrained. If I remove the seal, you will burst right behind it, and for heaven, only a certain level of laws can infringe its sacred grounds,"
I was running out of qualms; what should I do now? Asking him questions about art? But he's an image established using my brain, all that he knows I already knew.
The god could hear my thoughts, but he didn't bother to correct my ideas trajectory, throw a man in a river, and he will find out if he can swim or not.
And that's exactly what he attended to do with me.
"Long story short, you will need to train and blend with your laws to ascend to heaven; hence, the only possible way is to give up your mortal body and traverse a more substantial dimension,"
"In other words, reincarnate?"
He didn't reply and flicked his fingers instead, bringing fire chains to enclose my body; I still didn't feel anything; my body was like one of a vampire, cold and lifeless.
"Let the ceremony of loosening the seal begin!" a booming voice resounded in my ears.
The chains rattled, entering my body, as my flesh melted over bones like butter in a pan.
*Clang Clang
Few seconds were enough, so my whole body perished, but I didn't know it was just a simulation; the real changes were happening to my real body, soundly sleeping in my room.
*Boom.
Something exploded on my chest; colorful glints came beaming out of my soul, my whole core shook.
I looked at myself; I became just a golden phantom.
"The seal had finally been loosened to match your new world measurements; go train your dao, my dear son, and hopefully, we can meet somewhere in the future,"
Perpetual questions appeared on my head, 'Dao? Law power? Domain?' The dream was becoming real and real.
"How? Am I supposed to train this dao?" I hesitantly said I didn't have any pieces of information about the terms he was merely shouting.
"I will reincarnate you in the primordial universe, the first realm the jade Emperor created and also the richest in-laws energy and life and death qi."
"...."
"You seem like you're still somewhat hesitant; rest assured, I will emerge a system with your soul to help assist you in your stay."
After the absurd events, I was having enough of this dream and requested him to make me leave.
"Sure," he laughed right after that, sending shivers up my spine.
"Did I make a mistake? And even though this is a dream, this god isn't generated by me?"
The answer came faster than I ever expected.
