"Hi…"
Mi Young shook her head and crossed her arms over her chest. She then slouches on the chair as she then glares at her mother through the thick acrylic glass. She has been trying to avoid her ever since the day she visited. She doesn't want to see any familiar faces and didn't want what had happened last time to reoccur.
She didn't want to care for the grand gesture that Lady Ae Ri was doing for trying to get to see her everyday. It should have been the 42nd day of telling the guards to turn her away. What changed her mind was the conversation that she had overheard in the common bath area.
"I heard she made kimchi from scratch!"
"Are you sure that she made that? Probably not!"
"I swear! I smelled it! That damn lunch box was making me salivate! Do you have any idea how bad the food tastes here? I would fuckin' kill for an ice cream!"
