Eungoo was currently sitting on the edge of the bed and starred outside the window. He smiled a little when he saw a couple of birds chirping on the windowpane. His heart sank when they flew off together.
Don't get Eungoo wrong he was happy that he was clothed, fed, and had a roof overhead but it felt empty without Yejun. The man was recently very busy. He hardly saw him anymore. He tried to have a decent conversation with the guards and even with Irene but they had chores and jobs to do. He offered his help but they refused.
Eungoo got up and walked towards the same windowpane. He sighed when he saw the numerous trees that blocked his view from the city. He tilted his head a little and bit his lips. He could see a glimpse of it… small parts. He missed it. He misses the life he used to despise. He hates to admit it, but he misses his parents even if they mistreated him. They're all he's ever known.
