The human boy ran and ran, just like she told her to, he hadn't realised at first, but small tears were dropping from his eyes, why was he tearing up?, was it because of Athena?, he had just met her, but she seemed like she did want to help him and be his friend. Tyler stopped and rested on a rock, catching his breath, he couldn't hear the fight anymore, he had ran a while now, he was about halfway round the lake he was at earlier, but he still hadn't found the pack she was talking about, surely they would've found him first.
He heard a low growl from above him, he looked up to the the same beast that attacked Athena, sitting atop the rock looking down upon him. He jumped back, backing off and bumping into a smaller rock, he raised his rifle up, lining the scope with it's head.
The thing laid a paw down in front of it, it was caked in blood, dripping down the stone and onto the frosty soil, it was so fresh Tyler could taste copper in his mouth.
"No" Tyler whispered, more tears welling up as he watched the blood drip leading from the large splat, he looked up at the creature, it's piercing eyes locked to his, it's fur almost looked like raven feathers, then it grinned at him before pointed a large grotesque finger at him.
"Your next" It said, it's voice sounded garbled like a thousand voices combined and mixed with a demons.
"You bastard!" Tyler screamed, firing multiple shots at the creature, the thing roared at it was hit, it fell down backwards behind the rock and disappearing from sight.
Tyler started running again, crunching the snow beneath him, he heard the the creature roar as it stood up and came bounding after him, he climbed under boulders, through small caverns, bushes and tightly packed trees, but no matter what the thing managed a good pace behind him.
He came out of the woods and onto the rapids of a river, he looked back and forth for a way over and found a tree log over the river, he ran over to it slinging his gun over his back and began crawling along it, nearly sliding down the sides thanks to it being slippery.
By the time he was nearly over the creature came bounding out the woods as well, it saw him crossing and ran over to the log as well, it was about the follow after him but it stopped, Tyler wondered what it was doing. then, it began pounding the log with it's fists, using all it's strength to push it.
"It's trying to push it off" Tyler's heart dropped and he quickened his pace, crawling along the surface, clinging for dear life as the log wobbled as the thing pounded it with all it's might. At one point, his leg slipped and he felt a sharp pain in his leg but he ignored it. Finally he made it across safely, just as the log came tumbling down over the edge and into the river.
The beast across the war roared in anger and started readying itself as if it was going to jump instead. Tyler, not wanting to find out if it could, ran off into a long grass field, the field being a big one, taking him a few minutes to come out the other side. He turned round in time to see that the thing had indeed jumped the river and was running thought the same field after him, the grass parting where it was like a scene out of a horror film.
Tyler continued to run, not caring to see what direction he was going, that was a big mistake, as he came to a dead end, a large rock face with steep slope on both side, no way was he climbing it.
He turned back to find another way, but the creature was already there right in front of him, before he could react the creature swung at him with one of it's paws. The sheer force from the hit threw Tyler back and slammed him into the ground. He crawled his way back until his back pressed against the wall. He reached for his rifle but couldn't find it, he searched for it and found it not to far away, he reached over and grabbed it, shouldering it he took aim, lining up the crosshairs with the thing's head, and squeezed the trigger.

Tyler's heart stopped, the beast's smile grew, it was probably thinking the same thing. He released the magazine to see it was empty, he had fired all his rounds, the rest were in his burgeon. He dropped it, pulling out his army knife, readying it in his hand, he accepted he was going to die there, but wasn't going to go down without a fight.
The thing laughed at him, it sounded like an old man and a hyena laughing at the same time.
"You think you can kill me with that, pathetic, you couldn't kill me with your special weapon could you?" it said in a hoarse voice, laughing again at the boy.
Tyler pulled the knife up, the thing prepared to leap for the final kill, the boy closing his eyes waiting for death, if only miracles existed.
Suddenly, he heard a howl from the rock face above him, then a thud and crunching of leaves and snow, then growling, he opened his eyes again to see.....
another wolf, but instead of a bad one, it looked a bit like Athena, but this one was more bigger, with light grey and white fur with black tattoo markings on it's legs and arms, it turned to look at him, it's yellow eyes meeting his, Tyler could see the same black tattoo markings on it's face.
It turned back to the beast, the wolf raised it's head and let out a howl, a few seconds later, Tyler could hear what sounded like more giant wolf's on top of the wall, He looked up to see four more anthro wolf's all looking at the beast and growling, he couldn't make out any details in the darkness, although he could see the glint of metal from the moon's light.
"Well well well, look who's interrupted me during my dinner" the thing said mockingly.
"I told you already, if I ever find that you or your friends are even tempting to harm another human I will put a stop to it" the grey anthro said in a low menacing male voice.
"But you must know, they taste ever so good, you should try a-"
"LEAVE" the grey wolf roared, the other wolf's growling intensified. "Next time I see you, I will make sure you're dead".
The creature growled in annoyance, as it sped off into the night. The big grey wolf turned to Tyler who was still sat there with knife hand, both looked at each other in an awkward silence.
