Harry was always a type of boy to be confused by everything, even feelings-- if he felt anger he would mistake it for hurt-- it was just the way he was. Once a confused boy, always a confused boy.
He often thought about things far too much, he would do nothing else but try his hardest to please everyone, but everyone has to be pleased in different ways-- some ways he would just never understand, for example, sexual-- he was just never really clued up on it. And now, being the age of 18 was so confused by people, girls and boys, at school, when he went out the shops for his parents, and most of all by this boy in his history class; Louis. He gave Harry weird feelings and he made his tummy go weird. He would feel it when they were close and especially in their history class because Louis sat next to him, he would always call Harry 'baby' and it made his stomach drop, but he didn't understand at all. But he tried to understand, he did....

"Harry darling, wake up" his mother, Anne spoke as she opened the curtains.
Looking over to Harry she laughed at the sight on her lanky, tall son wrapped in his quilt cover, and his brown curly hair popping out the top of the whiteness of the quilt, his right eye open looking at his mother and his left tight shut. Grabbing hold of a corner of the quilt he moaned arkwardly as his mother pulled it off,
"Mum! I don't want to get up! It's the summer break, why abuse me like this?" He spoke hugging his knees into his chest, placing his chin on his knees. It was cold now, the quilt removed from his body and now a breeze replaced the warmth, making him frown deeply.
"Dentist today remember, and you wish it was summer break!" She spoke looking into his sudden sad and hurt eyes. A pet-lip appeared on his face as he registered the words his mother had just spoke to him. He hadn't ever liked the dentist much, it scared and made him squirm in his seat at the thought of everything that they have beside the large moving chair.
"No, mum, no... please you know I do-" his mother cut him of as she lifted her right index finger as if to warn him to stop, and he certainly did. It was how he showed respect, in his opinion your parents have the 'ever say', they choose your destiny until you are eighteen sort if thing, it scared him because he had never done anything without his mother. What if he mucked up? He wouldn't be able to start his life again it's not like school where you can do it over again if you do an equation wrong. What if he missed his rent? They would kick him out quicker than Donald trump if he lost the election.
He didn't want to do anything on his own, he wanted his mother by his side all the time, with her telling him what is right and what is wrong, which way to go, when to cross the road at which crossing.
"Harry!" A voice pulled him out of his daydream, his eyes blinked and watered as he looked over to his mother who wasn't by the curtains anymore but by his side she placed her hand on his head and smoothed down his hair.
"What were you think of?" Harry shrugged, but smiled and got up stretching his long arms up and behind his head yawning and thinking once more.
"Mum?-" She nodded, "-can I go to the dentist on my own today?" He asked deciding that the best way to get over his fear was to face it where it stood. Then he could finally, maybe get on his own path in life. MAYBE being the big word in this.
His mother gave him a shocked look. Was she hearing this correct? She had always took him everywhere she even still now, takes him to school, how could he survive on his own, without his mother's helping hand? Maybe she could go but follow him behind?
" Mum your not following me behind" Anne gazed at Harry Like she had saw a ghost, "- yes you said it out loud" Harry spoke.
It was clear to Anne that Harry was unfortunately not backing down. Her baby was finally turning into a man; well in Harry's sort of way. It had always occurred to her that Harry was different he was never bothered about friends, or crushes. It sometimes scared her, the fact that the only things Harry has ever really connected with is nature and his family. She sometimes thought that he would never connect and she wont get a grandchild, it scared her it did, but at this moment when Harry had said that and everything flashed through her mind she gained hope that he might connect with people and maybe find some friends possibly.
Sighing Anne looked at Harry who was now in his school clothes, the school not having a uniform so he had put on a navy blue knitted jumper and a flower crown and was on placing highlighter upon his cheekbones. "Harry, darling wipe it off please-" Harry shook his head, no and carried on placing it on with a feather like brush, Anne having no clue what it was called at all. "- ok, don't but just to warn you i am driving you to the dentist then from there you can walk to school and explain why you are late ok?" she spoke with a slight smile upon her face as she watched her son smile at the thing that he added to his face to make his cheekbones shine.
Harry turned towards his mother, a smile clear on her face, but her eyes were watering, dear me! - he thought as he went to hug her, he was really going to do something new, his mother knew it and so did he. He was scared, yes, but he needed to get it over and done with then he could go to school and forget about it, and hopefully gain some confidence, he didn't like other people they aren't like the animals and plants they all look back and laugh at him, the plants smell nice and the animals are cute.
"mum i can do it! Lets go, before i change my mind" he nodded towards the door and took Anne's hand, its for the good, it is, or at least he thought so.
