"Oh! Hey, Arlie! Have a seat."
"What's this about?!"
"No... um... I wanted, to apologize about before... the thing with Mila. I was just caught up in past feelings. Well... actually, I guess I was just jealous. I couldn't even bring myself to do anything with him. All that happened was it was late so I offered him to stay the night."
"Wait... that was all?! Really? You mean... you didn't-"
"NO! Although I wanted to... I couldn't bring myself to. But what I said still applies. After this Dune situation ends, we'll have him decide. Although I still don't mind sharing him."
"You're still saying that?"
"What? Did you think I'd just stop because my sister beat me up? Or what? Do you want to fight me next?!" Shula said. "My sister said there are a lot of guys out there, but he's the only one who treats me normally. Everyone else looks at my scars and gets scared. Do you realize how bad it is to live with scars that won't go away? Do you? You don't huh? I didn't think so. My sister said we were similar, but I don't understand how. HOW IN HELL ARE WE SIMILAR HUH? YOU DON'T HAVE TO WALK AROUND WITH SCARS ALL THE TIME!" She continued.
"Scars?! Do know why I always wear pants and long sleeve shirts? Don't act like you know someone when you really don't. Don't just assume I've had a normal life. You want to talk about scars?! I'll show you scars. Come here." Arlie said as she grabbed Shula and brought her to the bathroom. Arlie brought Shula to a big bathroom stall and started to strip.
"WHAT ARE YOU DO-" Shula stopped mid sentence when she saw Arlie's body.
"Wha?!"
"You said I didn't know what it was like? To have scars... take a look. I'm like a walking cutting board."
"How?!"
"I got brought somewhere with a guy and he and his friends jumped me. All of them stabbed me. At first, it was just light cuts, but they gradually got stronger and deeper. Some even reached the bones. We're similar when it comes to scars, but we differ when it comes to the outcome. You see, you got brought to the hospital, whereas I didn't. I was abandoned and left to die. Hell... I even thought I did. I should've, I don't know how I survived." Arlie said as she put her clothes back on.
"I... am so sorry! I... I didn't know!" Shula said.
"Haha. Of course, you didn't know, I never told you." Arlie replied.
"But Arlie! How are you so... happy, all the time?"
"Hm? Oh... I'm not... it's a façade... on the inside, I'm so angry that I could kill anyone without remorse. The man that did this to me is gonna die... in a really brutal way... by my hands. And if anyone gets in my way... they'll die too. So in a way, we are similar. We're both revenge driven. I won't stop till I kill him."
Shula felt a strong sense of hatred coming from Arlie. It scared her just how much hatred Arlie had. The feeling made her weak like her heart was sinking to her stomach. How could one person feel this way?! It's insane! It hurts!! She thought.
"Welp... let's get out of here, shall we? It's awkward for two girls to be in the same stall."
Hm?! The feeling's gone. How'd she switch so fast?! This girl is crazy!!! Shula thought.
"Y-yeah... let's go," Shula said.
It's a good thing I didn't fight her... I woulda died! No one should have a hatred this heavy.
They left, and Shula went to Naila's house.
"SIS!!!! I... I WON'T MESS WITH MILA ANYMORE! ARLIE... SHE'S SCARY!!!!!"
"Woah! Shula... what's wrong?!"
"Arlie scares me. I've never known she went through something like that! You were right, but wrong at the same time. We are similar... but at the same time very different. No one should have that much hatred. No one!"
"Wait... what?! Hatred?! Arlie?"
Oh? Did she not tell her? About the façade. "Um... never mind. Forget I said anything."
"Okay?"
"Yeah... well, I should head home now. I just wanted to see you. Well... bye, bye!" Shula said as she walked out the door. As Shula was on her way home, someone grabbed her from behind. "Dune said it's your turn now, Naila."
Is she female? Shula grabbed the person's arm, then elbowed them in the rib. "Oh? Tell Dune, the girl you killed says hi! And... that she's coming for your life."
"Ah. And you have the wrong person... I'm her sister... Shula."
The woman got up and showed a look of fear as she looked at Shula. "Shu...la?! That's impossible... he... he killed you in cold blood! I was there!"
"Oh? You were there?! Really?"
She was more scared than before now. She backed away and tried to run but couldn't. Shula caught her and beat her up. "Oho... so you meant to harm my sister huh?!"
"N-no... Dune just told me to. I never really wanted to do anything like that!"
"That's good then... cause if you did this to my sister... you would've been dead by now."
Shula let her go. "Go back and tell Dune what I said before I get my sister." She said. I've gone soft. The woman ran away as fast as she could.
