He turned back with questioning eyes.
"Um…" She laughed cheekily and rubbed her hands together before stretching one palm out towards him. "Give it to me."
"How many billions?" He brought out a cheque book from his pocket and got ready to fill it in for her.
"Billions of what?" She blinked her eyes innocently.
"Nonsense, of course it's money." He glanced at her coldly.
He thought she was asking for money?
Fuck! This was a serious misunderstanding!
Wasn't he being too extravagant? He planned to give her sums of billions? Was he too impatient to deal with millions?
She especially liked big bosses who were this cultured.
"Who said I was asking you for money?" She was deeply moved, but forced him to keep the cheque book away. "Um… I'm asking for the piece of scab that came off my face earlier."
Her eyes were sharp and she had noticed him holding it in his palm.
