For some strange reason, the haughty woman from before wilted in an instant. She shot Su Wanwan a venomous glare, then stormed into the fitting room.
Not long after, she emerged in her own clothes, and spitefully tossed the dress at the attendant. "It's awful, I don't want it!" she snapped.
"Blaming your looks on the clothes now, Miss Lai? Maybe all those late nights have affected your vision too," Su Wanwan remarked.
Miss Lai's face had turned an ugly shade, but she said nothing. She picked up her bag and stormed off.
"Why does she seem so scared of you?"
"Of course, she's scared of me." Mo Weiyi laughed slyly. "Because I have something on her."

After checking out, the two wandered into the store next door. When they emerged, they encountered the same woman in the hall.
This time, there was a tall man with her. She clung tightly to his arm, almost pressing her entire body against him, oblivious to the strange looks they were drawing.
"It's a small world."
