Old Lady Huo looked down, "My, this is a luxury watch isn't it? It has to be worth more than a million."
"More than a million? Isn't it too expensive?" Old Lord Chu chuckled with satisfaction, then continued to grumble, "This stinking boy. He knows my birthday is coming up, so he gets in early with a gift. At least he's somewhat dutiful."
Old Lord Huo humphed twice, picked up his newspaper indifferently, and resumed reading.
"Old Madam, should we use the crucian carps to make a soup or braise them?" a servant's voice asked from the kitchen.
Old Madam Huo quickly replied, "Make soup out of them."
"Are we expecting guests?" Old Lord Chu inquired.
"No, Ashen is bringing his wife over for dinner."
"Your boy, Ashen, already found a wife?" Old Lord Chu exclaimed, both surprised and envious, "In that case, I must give her a good look. I haven't even met her yet."
"She'll be here soon. My granddaughter-in-law is absolutely stunning!"
