The Sect Leader of the Qingcheng Sect is the one being mentioned here, while the Black-faced Daoist is also a hall master of the main branch of Qingcheng.
The Qingcheng Sect's inheritance is a bit odd. They have ancient traditions but have also benefited from Tianshi Dao; many consider them a branch of Tianshi Dao.
However, that's not actually the case. Tianshi Dao is a legitimate Descendants' Temple, and all the Celestial Masters throughout history have borne the surname Zhang.
But Qingcheng Sect is from the Ten Directions Forest, and even the renowned Celestial Master Cave is part of the Ten Directions Forest. Despite having "Celestial Master" in its name, it doesn't emphasize master-disciple transmission but rather opens its Daoist Sects to welcome Daoist friends from all over the world.
However, there are many branches related to Qingcheng, where the good and the bad are intermingled.
