There is an indescribable softness to the way his lips press against mine. The way his breath tingles my cheeks. The way the tip of his tongue brushes against my upper lip coaxing me to let him in. I am lost in the feeling of his hands cupping my face, pulling me into him with each breath. The tiny traces his thumbs leave on my jawline. I can barely look at him as he teases his way into my heart.
I am breathing all of him in. He smells like freshly picked strawberries and sunshine. His lips softly graze mine again and again. I take a deep breath and kiss him back with a little hesitation. He tastes like dark rich maple syrup and cinnamon. I am confused by what all of this means but I cannot push him away. I do not want to push him away. He impatiently lowers my chin and I part my lips a little wider.
